I hired Gary Klinglehut to finish my partly finished basement. He contracted out the electrical and hvac. That turned out well. He decided he wanted to save money and finish the sheet rocking, mudding and taping himself. Let's just say it was the worst job by a so called professional I've ever seen! He tried to fix it and actually made it worse. I now have bowed ceiling and uneven walls that I have to look at every day. His fix it idea was to use a flat paint to hide what he did. You can pretty much see everywhere he taped and mudded seams and screws. He forgot to cut out for vents and
