Services
Any move that is a distance of 40 miles or less within the state of Pennsylvania is considered a local move. Pennsylvania regulates rates for local moves through the Public Utilities Commission (P.U.C.) and all licensed movers are bound by these filed rates. Local move rates are calculated on an hourly rate.

Roan's made it super easy on us from beginning to end. The tour to quote us for the move was done over a video call on my cell, and the lady I spoke to was super friendly and professional.
When the day came for the move, the truck showed up exactly on time and the movers got right to work. We were quoted for a 5 hour move and they were done in 3.5. We just let them in and tried to stay out of their way! That being said, they were careful with our belongings and even took the time to secure boxes that that needed it.

These guys were beyond perfect! Moved my stuff from storage in Lycoming Mall to Lock Haven. Very careful with my recently restored house, didn't bump or break anything. When I mentioned my wife's piano, they drove up the road to her Dad's house to move that too, just a bit of extra time on the job. Highly recommend them for your move!

These guys were amazing! I had a horrible experience with another local company and called them in a pinch to help get the rest of my house moved. They were phenomenal! They were able to get everything moved within a couple of days and they were so accommodating and professional. This company is the real deal, if you want your stuff moved by the pros the way it should be. Very reasonable pricing as well. I won’t trust my stuff to anyone but them!

Roan's helped us move from PA to NJ in November 2020. Let me just tell you they are absolutely great! From the moment we called for a quote to the day they left our new home they were simply amazing all the way around! Through everything they were both professional and understanding as things came up. They were also quick and efficient with the actual move. Tom and his two man crew of Nolan and Curtis were kind and caring to my family as well as our belongings. I cannot type enough amazing things about this company. From start to finish. Every form of communication with the office staff to the team work of the gentlemen who were doing the moving. We recently used Roan's Transfer and Storage to pack all our household goods and load it into a truck we were driving to Florida. The three men that came to pack us out were professional, caring and had my whole house packed in under 3 hours. They came back the next day and loaded our truck in about 5 hours. Everything was loaded efficiently and nothing was damaged when it was unloaded at our new location. Renee's estimate was very reasonable and when it was done the final cost was about $500 under the estimate. Thank you for making my move less stressful and I recommend everyone to at least talk

I cannot even begin to express my gratitude. Roan’s literally saved us from an extremely difficult situation and did a fantastic job. The day we were planning to load two rental trucks for a move across multiple state lines the local moving company that we hired didn’t show up and told us that we never officially confirmed so they cancelled our reservation without telling us (see one star review for Williamsport Moving Company for details).
