For over 30 years, Britton and Associates is a Residential Landscape Architecture firm, offering complete Design, Installation, and Garden Management services to the Dallas area. We design, install, and provide maintenance services for everything from small courtyards to large estates. There is no design problem that is too difficult for us to solve.

From site preparation to construction to completion, Britton and Associates is responsible for all aspects of the landscape installation. This begins with rough grading to prepare for elements such as pools, patios, decks, arbors, water features and planting areas. All materials are chosen for their enduring quality and lasting beauty.
Together with our client, Britton and Associates manages outdoor masterpieces. Each outdoor environment is a living work of art, influenced by Mother Nature, but can be controlled with regular garden management. Do not hire Britton and associates. Their marketing materials are very slick and while I saw that their prices were at least twice that of competitors I thought that the price would be justified. I soon found out I was quite wrong.. The "arborist' they used to trim our trees left a tree trunk, large limbs & branches in my neighbors creek. I also found our tree lights in a pile discarded on the edges of our property. We never gave Britton & Associates permission to cut down the tree lights . If the tree lights were ALL supposedly on multiple dead branches 9the excuse we received

Britton performed landscaping services for me that totaled approximately $100,000 a couple of years ago. When I called Britton to assist with a follow-up matter where a bed of horsetail had spread uncontrollably into adjacent beddings, Britt Johnson pointed out to me that the project manager, who had since been fired, never should have recommended the horsetail to begin with. He suggested to me that mistakes like that had caused the project manager to be fired. If I agreed to pay for expensive new bedding and plants for the area, Britt agreed that he would provide a tiny credit for the horsetail

BUYER BEWARE!
I believe Britt J. (the current owner and president of Britton & Associates) unscrupulously takes advantage of his customers and employees. I was happy to pay the nearly $100,000 quoted in our initial landscape and maintenance proposal; however, when the quality of the work fell far below our agreement, Britt demanded an additional $25,000 to do what he had already been paid to do. When company employees agreed the work was not completed as agreed and attempted to honor their initial agreement, Britt would not allow it. Below is a more detailed explanation of my experience
