We often think about the quality of the air outdoors, but what about the air inside your home. Is it really as high quality as you think it is? If you want to make the air in your North Carolina home as safe as possible for you and your family, it's a good idea to learn more about what could be adding pollution to your indoor air and what your options are for getting rid of those pollutants.
A recent study shows over 97% of homes were found to have lower than acceptable levels of Indoor Air Quality (IAQ).* These findings were recorded based upon over 49,000 individual tests performed over a two year period. During each minute the nearly 21 hours we spend indoors each day, we take in between one and two gallons of air.
The presence of mold in your home is something that should not be ignored. If mold problems are left untreated, they can lead to allergies and respiratory problems. In addition to the health risks of mold, it can also cause structural damage to your home. You may be able to see or smell the mold, but often there are no visible signs.

I had an elderly gentleman I take care of call them when his heat stopped working on a Friday morning. They told him it would be Tuesday before they could come out. So he called another company to take care of it. Crabtree services then showed up the same day after the other company had fixed it and they had the nerve to charge him $95.00 for the drive to his house. Avoid at all costs.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Called to have a routine maintenance check done on my air conditioner and they said it needed more R-22 Freon. Asked to tell me the price per pound before he filled and he did not do so, proceeded to charge me $800 for the whole thing when Freon averages between 25-50 dollars a pound! They were charging more than $140 a pound. THESE GUYS ARE SCAMMERS!!! They are not top rated on home advisor either, don't understand how they are still recommended on angies list!

I am writing to warn people about the poor quality service and high product cost from Crabtree Services. I used Crabtree Services a couple of times as my regular HVAC group was working on my retail units. I was appalled by the incompetent service and the extremely high cost of their products. I was told by the Crabtree technician, who appeared to be unable to define the condition of my units or what needed to be done, that the Freon was low. I did tell him to add Freon if it was needed. What I was not told was that a 198.00 service call would cost me 1000.00.
I called Mr. Crabtree to resolve

Please be careful if you are considering using Crabtree Services to work on your air conditioning. This company has a history of inflating their prices, especially on Freon, and charging for services that they never performed. I was overcharged for Freon and was told that they had cleaned the condenser on my HVAC. I had a technician do a follow up visit and found that only one side of the condenser had been cleaned. The Crabtree Services technicians have had no formal training in servicing a HVAC unit. Often, they are unable to repair a problem on the first visit because they don't know what

We have annual maintenance contract with Crabtree Services. The technician CJ., son of the owners, comes to service our units. Everytime he comes, he hands over a preventive repair estimates of over $2000. This time he came on 4/29/19 and handed an estimate of $ 2055.01. This time 2 days after his service, the cooling stopped for our upstairs unit. We called CJ and he said that there seems to be leak as refrigerant is low. He said replacing refrigerant will be expensive and may not even fix the issue. Since your unit your unit is 13 years old and it will be costly to replace the refrigerant, it
