I would not personally call or use Altec. I scheduled a time for an estimator to come look at my roof for repair job. That part went well, he showed up on time, looked at areas of concern and said he would email me my estimate. After 3 days not receiving an email I called the office to see what happened. The person I spoke to said the pictures taken were downloaded and didn't know why the estimate wasn't sent. She assured me she would take care of. Now 9 days later I still have not received an estimate!! If this is the way a simple estimate is handled I can't imagine how a repair

The entire staff was so helpful and courteous! I needed a job done ASAP in order to keep my home insurance current and Altec was the only company who could get the job done fast and at a very reasonable price! I would say Altec Roofing is a company where no job is too small or too big and they do what they say they are going to do! I would… recommend this company any time with a 5 star rating in all areas of their service. I asked for photos of the work to share with my insurance company and they sent the photos the same day they made the repairs so that I could meet my deadline with Citizen

Even though our job was small, we received prompt response to our request for a quote, and the work was completed in a timely manner. The technicians were polite, thorough and clean. The price was much more reasonable than other quotes we received, from firms that probably didn't want to be bothered with a small job. We are very happy with the work they did.

Project was to fix a leak in my tile roof. Problem was diagnosed and a repair estimate was given promptly after my inquiry. Work was started and completed on a timely basis. taking the rain in consideration. The men came when they said they would and finished on schedule. From the pictures I saw of each stage of the work it was done properly and… professionally. i spoke to the man who was in charge of the crew finishing the final stage of the repair and he told me he had been with Altec over 16 years. that told me a lot about the company. This is nonsense, as owner of a consulting engineering firm we have used Altec for 20, years, there work is very good or we would not use them. Their metal work is the best in the State of Florida. During Hurricanes Frances, Jeanne, and Wilma they did about 5 million of work for us. Getting materials and help at that time was difficult but they made good on everything. If you are looking for the rock bottom lowest price this is not the place. But if you are looking for high quality especially metal, and looking for a mid range price this is the place to look. Just had my Chimney cap replaced with this company. The quote was vague on what was included in the price. I called and talked to the V/P Walter. He assured me that my cost would include labor and the only thing I had to pay extra for was replacement wood. Just received my invoice for an extra six hundred dollars more. Robbie was the lady in the office I dealt with and both her and Walter did the bait and switch. Do not use this company. They are thieves. Find a more reputable company and don't get scammed in the end.
