Sergio and the entire team at Tahoe Home Builder are incredible! We hired them to completely gut and remodel our home in Carnelian Bay (5 bedroom/3 bathroom home - 2100 sq ft). They also added on an additional bathroom in our home. From start to finish, Sergio was kind, always on time, and did his absolute best to stay within budget. And the best part of it all - his work is INCREDIBLE. I can't say enough great things about him and his team. We were looking to do a renovation of our basement that included adding carpet, sectioning off the washer and dryer, adding canned lighting, drywall, storage under the stairs, painting and a few other general "fix it" items. We interviewed several contractors, but ultimately chose Sergio Alvarado and Tahoe Home Builder. Sergio at Tahoe Home Builders did an excellent job on the back deck of my Truckee home. His team provided high-end workmanship and it looks wonderful! Sergio coped very well with unforeseen difficulties caused by my preferred suppliers. He designed solutions that look terrific while staying within budget.
Sergio is very professional. He responded promptly to my texts, communicated clearly, and always showed up on schedule.

I hired Sergio from Tahoe Home Builders to help me to rebuild my deck
and anew studio entrance in Tahoe Vista, after it was damaged this past winter.
I live and work in Southern California , so I needed to manage and track on this job from a distance, only having a couple of opportunities to come up and check in during the demolition and build process. I was extremely pleased that Tahoe Home Builders was able to design and produce a premium product without my full-time supervision. There were a couple of details that I wanted to change during the build, and Sergio and his crew were very understanding
