Tablerock Solar was created by Tone Nichols almost 20 years ago. She started with a dream to bring solar technology to the upstate of South Carolina. Initially, Tone created and patented the initial designs for the Solar Cart. Once completed of the Solar Cart, Tone focused on bringing solar energy to the Upstate area.

Had my system installed last April. One year later, I can’t be happier. I did my own research to learn about the tax credits, the limits/carryovers and all the other hoops. No surprises this year and my power bill is basically gone. Excellent workmanship, good communication, and did what they said they would do. Highly recommend this locally owned company!

UPDATE:
Our project with Tablerock has been completed and I feel the need to update my initial review. Our project was a unique system design and our main reason for going with Tablerock was their willingness to take it on.
Our main issues with the project involved permitting delays with the county, and a several month long postponed delay for the start date of the project. There was a breakdown in communication during this time, but was reconciled after the owner of Tablerock solar came out to personally discuss the obstacles and reassured us the project would go forward.

Only give one star due to I have to give one to write review ... very unprofessional company ... lie about everything the say they were gonna do . Nothing they done was per contract. I have proof of everything on all my claims ... i still today have power bill and solar payments ... my bill was supposed to be completely gone and they sold me hot water heater that was supposed to save me 30 percent of my power bill that will not heat up hot if I turn backup power (grid) off and let only the solar part work and settings are high as they can go ... too much to write about ... but please be aware don

Beware!!! This company will lie to you and rip you off. They built me a carport that leaks whenever it rains. It's been almost a year and my project isn't complete. They told me I would get $22,000 in tax credit and my account told me I would only get $12,000. They told me they would be back to fix the leaking. I haven't heard from them in 3 months. Stay away!!!

They only get one star because it won't let me take it off ...This company is the very worst choice you could make on a solar system ... They did not do one thing per contract ... the contract said they would be finished by oct 20 it was January 29 before the solar system finally passed inspection after the third inspection ... they put in a hot water heater that has never worked properly ... they went as far as to hook my old hot water heater with the 7000.00 dollar new one said I had plenty hot water ... the building they built for my solar is not anyway the size it supposed to be per our

We have been working with Table Rock Technologies for over 8 years, first in a solar thermal (hot water and heat assist) installation, then most recently a solar PV installation. Additionally, we have been working with them on a business level assisting on the electrical end of some local installations on a consulting basis. They have always been responsive, customer-focused, and available when we needed service, and we appreciate the connection.
