Matt McGuire is a Springfield, PA native and a 1996 graduate of Penn State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Agronomy-Turfgrass Science. Matt has 25 + years of experience in the turf management and lawn care industry. He is dedicated to providing our area with an educated, honest, environmentally friendly solution to lawn care and athletic field management.
Since the early 2000s, Delaware Valley Turf has responded to the lawn care and athletic field needs of residents and commercial businesses in West Chester, Delaware County, the Main Line, and the surrounding areas. We were extremely pleased with Delaware Valley Turf! They got our grass looking the best it ever has, and showed up for each of the 6 treatments when they said they would. All of the guys who were here are very knowledgeable and have degrees in turf science and always were friendly and answered our questions.

Delaware Valley Turf has done a great job this past season taking care of my lawn. They are very service oriented and always give me advance notice before coming. My lawn has never looked better. I was one of few houses on my street that had none of the white weeds all over (the other houses that didn't have weeds also used DVT). One of my neighbors switched lawn fertilizer companies just because he liked his my lawn looked. I would definitely recommend Delaware Valley Turf.

We were having trouble growing grass on a stretch of a hill in our yard for years. Nothing was working! We called Delaware Valley Turf to give us ideas in how to rectify the issue. They said aerating , reseeding and suggested the appropriate amount of watering (which we think was key)…and now we have a nice green lawn on the hill all summer long! We were happy with our outcome when working with Delaware Valley Turf.

A couple of years ago we paid a fortune to sod our entire yard only to have it all die. The next summer, the yard was weeds with a few blades of grass. We called around and found Delaware Valley Turf. They came out, spent a lot of time explaining the issues with our very sloping, wooded lot. They gave us solutions. They killed the weeds, fertilized and seeded. They tested the soil and treated it for lime. In just a couple of months we have beautiful grass! I didn’t think it was possible. Thank you DVT. I am so excited to see what happens in the summer with our lovely new lawn.

I started using DelVal Turf this spring to rehab my lawn. I signed up for not only the weed and feed services, but also for the fall core aeration and overseeding. My lawn looks terrific. The weeds were noticeably suppressed after the second spring application and the overseeding has filled in the many bare spots in my lawn (particularly where the lawn slopes). DelVal is very accommodating with respect to scheduling. Additionally if one is not 100% satisfied with a particular service, DelVal will provide a complimentary redo or touch up. The staff is readily accessible and is willing to answer

We started using Delaware Valley Turf this year after seeing how well it worked for our neighbor over the past several years. Our yard was primarily weeds, so it looked pretty bad when they first started the treatments, but now the lawn is great after several visits, including the Fall aeration and seeding. Delaware Valley Turf is the BEST ! One year ago we reached out to them for lawn service. We didn’t have much of a lawn, mostly weeds ! The back yard was even worse. We have many big trees and two dogs so it made it a bigger challenge.
Within one season of treatment from these professionals I actually have a lawn! I am so excited !!!! … Besides each technician being educated in this field, they are respectful and considerate. They call ahead to let me know they are coming so I know not to let the dogs out. They pay special attention to any of their clients requests.

We are VERY green, eco-minded people, and were agonizing over the decision to use a lawn service, but the lesser celandine was taking over, and we had to do something. We gave Delaware Valley Turf a try, and are amazed on two points: 1) the lawn actually looks much better after just three seasons with them; and 2) whatever they are putting on the lawn, it isn't hurting the bunnies, who continue to eat our clover and other things every evening!
