I had a small drip coming out of our fire sprinkler backflow system and I texted Richard some pictures. He immediately gave me a call back to walk me through how to adjust a bolt to see if that would stop the leak. If that didn't work, then I was probably looking at an expensive repair to replace that entire part. Richard's instructions were very detailed and it fixed our leak! I really appreciate that he took the time (on a Sunday!) to walk me through a quick and easy fix. I will definitely keep them in mind if we ever have to get anything fire sprinkler related fixed.

We had a leak in our apartment building for 3 days. It started on a Saturday. We had a very hard time getting a plumber to come out and the 2 that did wouldn't fix the leak.
The last plumber said it looked like the fire sprinkler system was the problem, and he wouldn't touch it. We called Black Bird and they responded right away. They couldn't come that night but they came the next morning.
Rob was the plumber and he fixed the leak right away.
He told me he wished the plumbers would at least clamp the leak. He told me when he goes out to a job he patches the leak even if it is

I have used Black Bird twice and I won’t call anyone else. This company is family owned and appreciate their customers. They respond quickly even though you will probably reach a voicemail but they will call you back immediately. Richard made it stop raining inside the kitchen quickly and efficiently. My tenant and I agree, Richard is a good dude!

Called Richard who gave me two quick quotes over the phone. When I emailed him the photos of the sprinkler, he took one look and and walked me through a self repair of the unit. I can not believe that I have worked with this company longer than I've been on Yelp and never gave a review. This company rocks every tech is awesome and always polite and courteous. They are always willing to work with your schedule and making sure to do all of the e-paperwork between themselves and the city to keep you hand free. I love these guys and they do all fire sprinkler inspection and risers, Backflow and fire hydrant testing or at least that what I use them for. The local FD called us out on an overdue annual inspection of a fire extinguisher on-property at our rental. I called Black Bird Fire. They answered my call immediately and had a technician on property within three hours. I was amazed. They took the time to explain the process to me - I had no idea since we had never been through it before. The tech sent texts and photos immediately after, with the updated inspection tag that I sent to the FD. Courteous, professional, helpful people!

I called Blackbird because I thought I had a fire sprinkler leak in the garage. However, after they opened up the garage ceiling, it appears to be a roof leak. Blackbird drained my fire sprinkler system for me before they left (which hadn't been done in 15 years). Thanks for coming out on time and diagnosing the problem. I had Black Bird Fire replace the fire sprinklers in my residential home after discovering the existing sprinklers had been the subject of a safety recall. Richard and his coworker were friendly and professional, and as far as I can tell they did a good job with the installation. The new sprinklers look good and there doesn't seem to be any damage to the ceiling.

So relieved to have found Black Bird to service our restaurant. The previous company we had was NOT doing their job.
