During my years as a custom home builder, I discovered that there was no source for custom cabinetry and countertops in Ashtabula. I encouraged a friend, Rob Pallutch, to construct the custom products I needed for my business. In 1995, I took over the business when Rob decided to move to Indiana. In the last 15 years, new technologies in hardware and finishes have allowed the company to evolve to a higher level of quality.

In 2007, the state acquired my old business to widen Route 20. I was fortunate the old Olsen's Bakery building was available to purchase. It required an entire year of remodeling, but Classic Cabinet Company now has a superior location to serve our customers' needs.
