Swimming pool leak detection is all we do. Other companies spend most of their day searching for leaks inside of buildings. Pool leaks present a completely different set of challenges. Our focus in this area gives us the experience you need to resolve your problem. Most pool leaks can be resolved by one of our experienced divers performing a meticulous inspection of every square inch of your pool.
When deemed necessary we will direct our attention to the pool's plumbing system. There are many reasons that pipes fail underground. Often times settling in the ground will cause joints to fail. Sometimes fittings were never adequately glued during construction. More often these failures in Hampton Roads are due to the type of pipe used during installation.
Precision leak detection allows us to make pool plumbing repairs using the least invasive means possible. Often times we can tunnel under your existing pool deck and make repairs without ever cutting concrete. Other times repairs can be made through a small hole cut directly above the leak. Sometimes it makes sense to replace a faulty line all together.
Due to the high water table in the area, swimming pool liners often float during periods of heavy rainfall. When this groundwater recedes, it can leave unsightly wrinkles in your liner. Wrinkles can reduce the life of your liner in more than one way. They stretch your liner placing undue strain in both the corners and at the coping where the liner hooks into the track.
Occasionally area pools experience catastrophic floating. This can leave very large wrinkles, large areas of separation between the liner and the coping, or even a heavy volume of water trapped behind the liner. Under these circumstances it may be necessary to empty half or possibly all of the pool water.

I emailed this company on Sunday, they emailed first thing Monday morning, asked for my phone number. I was called immediately by Jamie (I hope I am spelling her name correctly). She told me I would be contacted by a “technician”. He called me Monday and set up the appointment for Tuesday afternoon. Chas came out Tuesday afternoon, patched my skimmer. Not only is it holding but he could not of been any more kind. This company was recommended by 2 different pool contractors. They have a solid reputation for a reason.

Amazing customer service. Called on a Monday afternoon immediately received a call back to collect information and received a call from the technician later that day to schedule. They were out the next day and the hole was patched in less than 30 minutes. 10/10 call then for any pool leak repairs.

Rodger came over and inspected the pool after we had discovered some construction material in it. He found additional nails and glass in the pool as well as found that my drains weren't installed to allow max flow.
He was very professional, thorough, and polite. I would definitely recommend them to anyone that are concerned about their pool.

We just had our liner replaced this year and within a month we had a significant leak of 5/8 inch of water daily. Rodger came over and found a crack in our light niche and made the repair. Afterwards we were still experiencing nearly the same amount of water loss, so I contacted Rodger. He gave a me test to run for the next 48 hours to determine if we were losing water in our piping or still via the pool. The test confirmed that the water leak was in the pool so Rodger scheduled another dive to re-check his work. Rodger found another leak in our niche on the second dive, made the repair, and did

Had a service call for an air leak. This particular piping was on its last leg and was held together by tons of silicone. The technician (Rodger) came out and did a good job of patching it up, however, he recommended replacing the piping. The repair job held for a few days and eventually the air leak came back. I called Rodger and he patiently went over everything that was needed for the repair. I repaired the piping but unfortunately still had a leak. Rodger again very patiently trouble shot the work done and i was able to get the pool running 100%! Rodger new this was a quick fix and instead

We got a dog ball stuck in our pool plumbing line and were at our wits end trying to figure out how to remove it. Steve fit us in today and was able to remove it for us! Upon opening our pool for the season, it was apparent that we had a leak. Based on the recommendation of East Coast Leisure (great to work with), I immediately contacted ALD. Their diver (Chris) arrived on time, patched several leaks (old liner), and provided me with a candid and honest assessment of our pool liner. I would highly recommend their service for anyone experiencing a pool liner leak.

Most definitely, I highly recommend this company! Jamie was my point of contact for the most part of the process, I even asked questions during the weekend and out of working hours and she definitely helped me out. Mike was the technical expert who worked on our pool and did an amazing job! He was very knowledgeable on what he was doing. Also a great instruction, he didn’t mind teaching me things I didn’t know about the pool system.
