S & D Fire Protection, LLC was founded in 2012. We offer 24/7 emergency service to all our wonderful customers! S & D has state licensing in all of the above listed fire protection services for Louisiana and Texas! We have over 25 years of combined experience in this trade! We will strive to provide THE BEST customer service without the expense of our competitors.

Both, Chad and Cheryl, grew up in the Shreveport/Bossier area, and both attended Airline High School. We have been married for 21 years, and have two children.

We try to be active in our community, but having two children and a business doesn't allow a lot of spare time. We are active with our Church and are members of the Krewe of Centaur! Chad started into the fire protection business just before we married. Mostly due to the fact that Chad's father had been in this trade doing fire sprinklers.

Hood Suppression Report

Kitchen hood systems are designed according to each individual cooking appliance arrangement. Depending on sizes and types of cooking areas will depend on how many nozzles you will need and where they should be located. Once these fusible links reach there manufactured tempature, they will melt releasing the cables which causes the suppression system to go off.

Cheryl and Chad came in the first time and checked out our extinguisher and exit lights. One of the exit lights was in poor condition and S&D installed a new one in a matter of minutes for a very fair fee. They come back regularly and check and maintain the fire extinguisher. Clean bill of health every time the fire marshall visits. Highly recommend S&D!!
