The Fix It Man Repairs

Mark was very punctual, hard working, knowledgable, and upfront with his work. He was able to fix a variety of my ill fitting doors, drywall some holes, remove some archways, frame a door, fix an outside window rot, and install crown molding, all in a day and a half. I look forward to working with him again due to his honesty and quality of work.

Mark arrived 20 minutes early and after checking out the job quoted a price of $100, and immediately got after it. He did such an excellent job in a short amount of time that I tipped him an additional $20. I will use him again when needed. Thank you Mark

I needed a quick fence repair and was lucky that he happened to be free today, when I called. For 1/10th of what fencing companies were estimating, Mark made the repair I needed to get the fence standing again. I had one rusted steel post which he didn't have to dig out to replace. I then showed him a couple of other things around the house and he was honest with me and said "don't worry about these things". Honest Man! I look forward to doing business with him again.

I found a DIY project for a copper pipe shower curtain rod that proved too difficult for me. Mark did an excellent job, looks exactly like the picture I provided him. Also had him install a few pendant lights, a chandelier, door knocker, and repair wood siding. He went above and beyond when I sprang a few small last minute items on him. I will be calling Mark again for any of my future needs.

This is the worst paint job ever and The Fix It Man says he is color-blind AFTER he painted my bedrooms. I hired Mr. Libby to paint 2 small bedrooms and 1 very small bathroom. He said it would be $1000. My daughter and I were concerned about the cost, but he said it would be a very professional job and therefore he charged a little more. When he said he was done after one coat, ALL the rooms looked horrendous! (See pictures below) He said he was done, and we said you need a second coat, there are spots of paint everywhere. He refused to put on the second coat, because he said it didn't need

Great service with Mark. Felt the quote was very reasonable and he was efficient and did a great job replacing a couple support boards on the front of the house that had been damaged by wood ants and nailing down some shingles on the roof. I'll definitely use him again. He's a former general contractor so has skills to do most projects around the house.
