I cannot recommend this company. Bottom line a 4-6 hour estimate to hang 5 doors and touch up some spots on my ceiling ended up at 10 hours & $700 over estimate when I stopped him and finished the rest myself. He could not get the doors hung correctly so I paid for the extra time. For $1,500 I got 5 closet doors replaced (I had to install the hardware and paint), some minor spackling in basement and kitchen and you can see where it was done. I had to finish painting the ceiling myself. I sent two emails to the company with photos but no response. Just be careful when paying by the hour.

We recently used Hambleton to repair some rotting wood around our front door, and install a backsplash in our kitchen. Brandon was very friendly and honest about the amount of work that needed to be done and the time it would take to complete. He was very attentive to details and did awesome work!

This company’s commitment to superior customer services begins from the first phone call contact to the successful completion of the job.
We had two carpentry problems in our condo that several building workers had said could not be fixed without major expense. HAMBLETON sent one of their staff, Kevin, who came, took a look, went to work and within less that 2 hours repaired both problems expertly at the agreed upon price.
Highly recommend this company.

Enjoyed our experience with Hambleton Handyman. The techs were professional and timely, and they did good work. One thing I will remember to do is ask for an estimate for the work to be performed while they are here, so maybe ask while they are looking at what needs done ahead of them heading out to grab materials, so there are no surprises. Would use their services again, and plan ahead, takes a bit to get an appointment depending on the scope of the work!

The handyman offered great advice. My issue was with making the appointment. The admin scheduling was pleasant but now I know after the fact that he shouldn’t have been commenting on actual handyman work because it’s misleading. Do not schedule any work with this company without doing the in-home walk-through/estimate first. If the admin tells you that it’s the norm to schedule without it first, then that’s a RED FLAG and you should go elsewhere! In my ignorance of hiring a handyman, I listened to the admin. The handyman who came said he would have never recommended that, and he didn’t

I found Hambleton Handyman in the quarterly 5 star review book I receive in the mail. I wanted to use a company that was highly rated so I'd get the work done right.
I hired Hambleton to replace a bath tub faucet and handle. I tried doing the work myself but I'm not very good with soldering, so I decided to call the pros. I spoke to James for scheduling and he was professional and courteous. He seemed eager to schedule the repairs as soon as possible and I really appreciated that.
My technician came the day of our appointment on time, and ready to work. He was polite and eager to get the repairs

Hambleton Handyman service is fantastic! Their policy of "not leaving until the customer is happy" is so true! We had a long list of small repair items and they were all completed by the end of the day. The repairman was professional, on time and responsive when I had questions.

On October 29, 2020, Jim Bishop repaired the leak in our kitchen sink drain; the leak was in our home inspection report, before I could show Jim the item in our home inspection report, Jim turned on the water and used some type of flash light and that helped him to locate the leak in the kitchen sink drain. He left our home, went to Home Depot nearby, came back with a new kitchen sink drain, installed it and the leak is fixed! Thank you Jim Bishop and thank you Hambleton Handyman!
