From early childhood memories to the present, Johnsye has always been fascinated by art and architecture. After graduating from Queens University with a major in Studio Art and a minor in Art History, Johnsye White began her career as a lateral entry art teacher in the public schools of North Carolina.
While teaching, she completed her teaching certificate of Art Education at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I still recall the shudders you built to cover an unused stall shower in our guest bath in pine grove village. No one ever guessed a shower was behind them!

From early childhood memories to the present, Johnsye has always been fascinated by art and architecture. After graduating from Queens University with a major in Studio Art and a minor in Art History, Johnsye White began her career as a lateral entry art teacher in the public schools of North Carolina.
We are an active member of the American Society of Interior Designers and attend regular educational seminars, as well as trade shows, offering the most current information to our clients and their projects. With a unique background of art education and interior design, we are able to create the total environment through space planning, lighting, color, finishes, furniture, and art.
Johnsye helped us to accomplish so many things. She helped us choose color palettes and furnishings to bring our home in Pinehurst alive. She listened to the different visions my husband and I had developed an interior design that we both loved. We have young children and Johnsye made wonderful suggestions for a child-friendly home while preserving our goal of casual elegance.
