Locally-owned Swims & Sweeps was established in 1989 by Clayton Sherwood in Manhattan, Kansas. With $500 in hand, a hope and a dream, Clay took out an ad in the local paper for chimney cleaning services. He loaded his Shop-Vac into the backseat of his 1969 Mercury 4-door, tied his ladder across the roof and went to work.

The only reason I’m leaving a review is to let the owner know what a poor business decision this situation was. I’ve never had a pool before now. This summer, I purchased a home that has a pool and am learning how to take care of it. I’m also in search of a business to call “my” pool supply go-to. The previous owner of my new home was kind enough to leave whatever chemicals and maintenance materials they had for the pool. I’ve ran out of chlorine tablets and am currently maintaining using shock and so I stopped in Swims and Sweeps this morning to see what they had. I planned on purchasing

Had them out to open the pool. The pool guy did not put the tube on fully, causing the pipe to burst off and the pump to run dry all night. Had them come out to check it over, the service tech tightened the pipe up and left without checking over the pump. Our vacuum continued to not run well, so tried calling the office and left a voicemail at the Manhattan office several times without getting a call back. Finally had to call the Topeka office, they said they haven't had anyone checking the voicemails, but they would send out a service tech to just check out the pump without charging so we

We had them open up our pool at the beginning of this summer. We have a 27 ft. above ground pool. They took two hours to clean it and it was still foggy and dirty. I guess my issue it for a $300 bill I expected clear, clean water. And the times I vacuumed it out after that it took a total of 30-45 min and the water was dirtier then what they had to clean. Was NOT worth the money. They didn't call or say anything if it needed additional treatment etc. Just un happy with the waste of money I just spent.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness
I bought a pool, above, below ground,
cost 13000. They tore the liner putting it in, charged me 800 for a new one then 2000$ to put it in. It took them 4 months to get to it, we didn't get to swim at all. Like being robbed with out a gun. Don't order from them.!!!!
