In 1998 Donald Kearns started Tri-Tech Service Company, Inc. A fully licensed HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing and Refrigeration business. He worked hard to stand above the competition by providing excellent customer service and treating every one like family. He was joined by his son Matthew Kearns in 2011 who has a Associates Degree in HVAC from Alamance Community College.

Tri-tech are everything you could want in a service company. They've been our go-to for HVAC and home systems for as long as I can remember, and there's a good reason. Matthew and Don are extremely knowledgeable, and brilliant at troubleshooting. Other companies just care about getting the job "done" and will needlessly replace components, costing you money. Tri-tech care about saving you money and doing the job right, and will find the problem and fix it. It takes deep understanding and experience to deliver this kind of value, and Matthew and Don have it.

We bought our ten year old home in 2014, and on Father’s Day 2015 our A/C went out. We had a home warranty that we wanted to use but would pay to fix it either way. Every company we called refused us because they didn’t work with warranties or because it was a holiday. Tri-Tech came out as soon as we called and replaced the capacitor and offered to process through the home warranty. For that single reason I chose to continue to do business with them.
March 2018 - I wanted to get my system serviced before summer. Don came out, serviced the system and found what at the time was a minor leak

I can’t recommend Matthew and Tri-tech highly enough. I have known Matthew for several years and have him bail me out several times on my aging hvac systems at my house. One time I called one of the large companies (the one with a gazillion reviews and that pays to advertise on google and everywhere else on the planet) and they came out and told me my system was too old to repair and that it would have to be replaced for $13k. I called Tri-tech for another opinion and Matt looked into it. He knew exactly what my old system was and also knew exactly what the failing part was. He told me it was

We have used them twice once to fix the heater and they were Jonny on the spot, prompt and informative and got the heater fired up in no time. Last night my AC went out and I called them first thing in the morning and they were again fast and efficient. My AC was up and running before lunch time. My wife and I are grateful for your guys prompt service and excellent work. Thank you and we strongly recommend you to our family and friends.

We called Tri-Tech for an annual check of our HVAC system. Matthew was extremely helpful - worked around our schedule to set a time. He was very knowledgeable and explained all of the work he was doing. A few issues he dealt with from which he could have made an extra buck, but he explained things that were not necessary (changing an expensive filter every three months) he explained and did not charge us. We will use Tri-Tech again!

These guys are the absolute best. I don't write many reviews - only for extraordinary service and horrible service. I was so impressed with Matthew and Zach (Zack?) who came out to fix my A/C unit. Professional, knowledgeable, and just plain likable. The worked quickly, took time to answer all my questions, and really went above and beyond the call of duty. Cannot recommend highly enough.

I was out of town when the AC went out.
Wifey called in the AM. Course i was nervous that they would take advantage of a woman.
They came that evening. Turned out to be a fuse. Quick and easy fix. Most importantly they made my wife comfortable... explained the whole system to her. She was VERY satisfied....

We have been using Tri Tech for almost four years and have had nothing but five star experiences. For the first time since I've installed my system it is running right thanks to Don & Mathew. These guys are the most knowledgeable and professional HVAC company I used. I have a two zone system and the second zone, which is our third floor, would never cool as quickly. My system needed a lot of work, the previous HVAC company had messed it up. They were here all day and did just an incredible job. I highly recommend them.

I'm very happy to be the first to review Donald at Tri-Tech. I cannot say enough good things about this adorable man. He was the inspector we hired to vet a heat pump when we bought our foreclosure and renovated it, and he's been the one to perform the odd repair here and then ever since. He's kind, prompt, ridiculously fair in his pricing, wants to make sure you really understand how the system works so you won't have to always call a technician out, and cheerfully works late/after hours to ensure you don't freeze/sweat for long. Wonderful company.

I went through a lot of HVAC people without luck. They are extremely professional and clearly know what they're doing. They were very willing to work around my schedule and completed the job correctly the first time. My AC runs better than it did when it was brand new. I would absolutely recommend them.
