Services
Indoor Air Quality Services is a family-owned, fully licensed, and insured mold inspection company. We only do testing and inspections. We perform thorough assessments and give recommendations, but for ethical reasons, we do NOT perform mold remediation. This ensures you get an honest opinion on the state of the property's indoor air quality.
Home mold test kits don't include a visual inspection conducted by a mold professional. A professional mold inspection includes a comprehensive visual inspection to detect issues and problems related to mold that are not apparent to most people without training in building sciences and mold inspection.
There are many types of mold. Some are more harmful than others. Only laboratory testing will positively identify the mold you may have. We help our clients identify what type of mold they are dealing with and what they can do to restore their indoor air quality! At times our customers may not have any visible mold but may be experiencing unusual sickness or smell a musty odor.
Contaminants can come from outside but there is also a smorgasbord of indoor sources like construction materials, consumer products, pets, and mold. Poor ventilation can let it accumulate to dangerous levels, a problem that often spikes in fall and winter as we seal up buildings to conserve heat. Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC's) are in countless consumer products such as: paint, glue, printers, rugs and shower curtains to name a few.
Here At IAQS we have provided samples of our VOC and Mold inspection reporting. There are typically five types of reports provided which give a complete and thorough analysis of the air quality in your home or office. These reports are extremely important because there are many fungal, mold, VOC's you simply cannot detect with a visual inspection and a DIY mold test kit.

Hired Indoor Air Quality on very short notice after allegation by potential buyer's agent that their "inspector" (actually an hvac contractor) found mold/black/biological material/mushroom-like/spores throughout entire hvac system. Needless to say this was a concerning claim. I needed a licensed and certified inspector, pronto!. I was fortunate to get a response from them within minutes. They made themselves available later the same day, adding me on to their schedule given the circumstances, but didn't take the opportunity to increase their price. I would recommend them to anyone purchasing a home in Florida. They were extremely thorough. I was in a contract for a condo. There were signs of water damage. I only had a short period of time to get the inspection done before contract ended. They were so accommodating, even though they were extremely busy. If it wasn't for them I would have purchased this home. They saved me from thousands of dollars that I would have had to put out to remove the mold! I am so grateful! I can't say enough about them!
