I was given a bid for exterior painting in February 2021 with the understanding that we would be ready to paint in mid May. I accepted and signed the contract.
Painting crew (subcontractors) arrived on Friday morning 5/28/2021 and said they could not do the job for the bid price and that the manager would contact me. No phone call or text on Friday.
Today I get a “revised bid” that is $2500 more citing increased costs etc! I do not trust this business to honor their bids period!

We had a large project (inside of a 7500sqft house with very high ceilings, 2 large garages, and all of the railing around the outside of the house) with many delays from other contractors. However, Southern Painting was unique. While almost every other contractor fixed something they would damage something else (especially drywall and paint). Southern Painting executed everything they said they would in the time they quoted without causing more problems when they were done. In fact, the final result looks absolutely beautiful. Our house has been refreshed to what it looked like when it was new

We have used Southern Painting previously and they continue to do a great job for us. We had them texture and paint a bathroom as well as replace and paint baseboard trim. Tim McCormick was very responsive on his quote and follow up. Selvin and his paint crew did a great job. Very pleased, would recommend and hire again.

We were getting a new roof and decided to paint the house as well. We had a few companies give us estimates. Southern painting was very professional, provided a thorough estimate with no surprises and was very reasonably priced. We had seen signs around the neighborhood for Southern, so we knew that people were using them. The key though is getting a good job for the price and we could not be more pleased with Southern Painting. They did an amazing job! We went back and forth about painting the brick. After getting quotes from 5+ different painters, we decided to go with Southern Painting to do the entire interior of our new home (walls, ceilings, baseboards, crown moldings, and doors). Rob was our salesperson and also oversaw the work. He was responsive to any questions and concerns we had, and his team was professional, efficient, and on time everyday. Our project was estimated to take more than a week, but they finished in exactly 7 days despite a day delay because of an issue with the paint color (which was our fault). Tim was great. He made sure everything was done perfectly. Our home is stucco and had cracks and he was able to cover them with excellent paint and workmanship. I've used the company twice. Once for a full interior (6,000 sq. feet) including skim coating the textured walls. That one was 5 week project, 6 days a week! The next time was the full exterior (week and a half maybe). I'm very happy with both paint jobs. Oh, I also had them paint full kitchen wood cabinets (spray) they did great at that too. I was worried because they had to disassemble them and they have to fit just right, but they put them all back perfectly.
