I highly recommend Desert Root. Tara did a great job with the design of our backyard. Tara was very responsive and the design process was well thought out. She listened to what features were most important to us as well as how our family would use the backyard and incorporated it into the design. Tony and his crew did an excellent job, we appreciate the work they did! Overall the experience could not have been smoother.

There just aren't words to describe my amazing experience with The Desert Root Landscaping. From my initial contact with Tara to my completed walk through with Tony, all employees were professional, knowledgeable, meticulous, hard working, timely and courteous. I came to Tara with an extremely unusual project. She listened to my needs, offered valuable input and came up with a design that was not only within my budget but also gave me the landscaped home I had dreamed of for years. I have already referred them to several friends and will do so time and time again.

They were wonderful to deal with and we're very happy how our front yard turned out. Tara, Tony and their whole team were very friendly and professional. And even with the craziness of Covid going on (where many contractors didn't even bother to respond) they were veryresponsive.
They were very flexible when I wanted to tweak our design a bit.
I'd recommend them to anyone looking to improve their landscaping.

Tara came out for an estimate, we went over what I wanted to have done, and she took measurements. I reached out for an update on my estimate two weeks later and never received a response. It’s been over a month now and I still haven’t heard back. They seem like they do good work, which is why I contacted them to begin with, but I guess they didn’t need my business.

Had the most amazing experience working with Tara and everyone at The Desert Root. Loved the design and when we had to do some changes on the fly due grading changes from my pool build, they came up with solutions that worked and look amazing. Loved working with Tara and everyone at the Desert Root. Prompt and flexible quote and the project turned out exactly how we had in mind. Tara was respectful about us changing our minds a thousand times even when it meant the quote dropped significantly when we decided to not do certain things we originally planned. We knew we couldn’t afford to do everything we wanted for our backyard. Tara worked with us on the best places to put our money and get our quote down to a reasonable price.
Day one of work, she introduced us to everyone on her crew and they were all knowledgeable and super easy to work with.

My wife and I reached out to The Desert Root to redo our entire front yard. We had grass, a tile walkway and patio, an old dead tree, and some irrigation problems.
Tara came out to get our information. She told us that they would be able to take care of everything for us. About a week later, she had a design ready and we were ready to move forward.

Today the desert root finished up the regrading of our back yard . Tony , Tara, Gauge, and the team were so efficient. The problems we have with drainage are a thing of the past . I threw them a curve ball and asked for a garden area , their response is yaas Queen we've got Chu. All of our future landscaping needs will be done through the desert root. Thank you

We are current customers and have had their service for over a month now. Weekly pool service bi-weekly landscape and could not be happier. They have shown up everyday they were supposed to and left both looking great. They caught our eye with a door flyer custom to our neighborhood and since the initial meeting have taken all of our concerns and addressed them consistently. Highly recommend

The Desert Root helped my husband and I with our backyard sod removal and drip-line installation for our deserts-cape plan about two weeks ago.
From the first time they came to our house for the initial quote, I was so impressed by their work ethic and professionalism. They sent us a very artistic quote within a day and we scheduled for them to come out to to work within a week. This timeliness was very important because we had scheduled for trees to be installed in about 2 weeks and needed the drip-lines before we got them.
Removing the sod and installing the drip-lines took about 7 hours

Tara, Tony and their team deliver an excellent product. We were the pool builder on a project and they did all the landscaping. I was extremely impressed with them as people but also their workmanship and overall commitment to serving the customer was one of a kind.
