Heritage Looms
Heritage Looms stems from the tradition of weaving handed down through generations. Rugs are a part of history and life in the east. In tribes and remote villages the carpets are used for comfort, warmth and sometimes sold for household needs. Each family has personal history woven into the carpets through the loom.

We share these traditions and passion with you in our selection of city, village, modern, transitional and tribal rugs. City and village rugs are usually woven specifically for sale. The traditions are still handed down from the master weaver (Ustad)-and the intricate details are amazing to the eye just as the simplicity of the tribal rugs are warming to the heart.

The weavers are very detailed and their passion is displayed in the rugs through the use of color and symbolic motifs. This is why we say, "Truly, one of a kind" works of art from the weavers heart". Each of our rugs are hand selected by Minoo, our personal representative in Iran. She is the sister of our dear friend Ali Talebi.

I strongly recommend this shop. The rugs are of the highest quality, a good selection is available plus there are gorgeous silk scarves at a reasonable price. Large vinyl bags in fun patterns would be great gifts. Catherine goes out of her way to be helpful, she is very kind. This shop was recommended by RayBurt's rug cleaning, whom I also recommend - they will even pick up your rug.

I had an excellent experience yesterday at this establishment. i have zero knowledge of rugs - and went in on a whim. i have wanted to purchase a rug for some time, but neglected to do my research ahead. despite this, i found a few rugs which i purchased. The prices seemed very reasonable and i would absolutely return for future shopping.

I wish I could say that I bought a wonderful rug here, but instead I just needed to comment on the kindness of the owner. I was moving a Christmas tree up to a condo, when the owner offered her hand cart for me to use to move the tree. She did not know who I was, but just saw a need and she offered a helping hand. Worked perfectly. I believe in supporting businesses owned by kind people ...stop by, chat with the owner and buy a rug.....

My husband and I found the answer to our quest for the perfect carpet at Heritage Looms. After refinishing the floors in our Craftsman style home we set out to find rugs that would compliment the hand craft feel this style is known for. We were introduced to Gabbeh rugs in our early searches and loved the style but not the selection. Heritage Looms was the only shop that carried a wide variety of Gabbehs. We immediately bonded with the shop owner,Catherine, and were impressed with her knowledge. She was able to tell us the story behind every carpet and runner. Ownership is special when you know
