I had a handful of pool companies bid this project and ultimately went with Swan because they have been around forever and have decent Yelp reviews. Clearly Swan has paid Yelp to remove their negative reviews or bribed clients to write positive ones because these guys are charlatans! Almost every person I talk to about my experience also has a Swan nightmare to tell, so please, don't be their next victim!

Pros:
-After all was said and done, we really like our pool and don't have any complaints about. It is exactly what we wanted.
-We got multiple quotes (in August of 2020), and they were one of the least expensive.
-They were willing to fix errors without too much fuss.
-Our mason team was amazing!

I would not give them any stars. DO NOT choose them. My neighbor and friend told me before I chose a pool company, she said I would not use them. So here we are suffering for it. The company has been fully PAID because they pressured us to pay even though they had not completed the pool and spa, they missed the deadline of my daughter's birthday so it was pushed back a month, they did enough to have the party. We decided to add a pool to our backyard in 2019. We chose Swan Pools because 2 of our neighbors used them and they seemed to be ok with them. The "design" process started in Aug.2019. The pool was completed and able to use by March 2020 (perfect timing due to Covid). Our "designer" wasn't really a designer. More of a salesman. Swan came highly recommended from a neighbor. We just completed our pool and we are so happy. We didn't use a landscape architect, so we relied on them a lot for design help and coordination with the rest of our landscape. If you are looking to build a pool, call Swan Pools and ask for DQ! After researching and meeting with several pool companies, DQ from Swan Pools was by far the most communicative, straight-forward, and honest. He is very attentive and made sure we stay within our budget. He genuinely wanted to learn about our family and used that knowledge to create an amazing design for us. First impression: he's nice, easy to talk to, has a creative mind (he is the pool designer), easy going (his mission is to have happy clients and be blown away by the outcome) and attentive (he'll accommodate us as much as we needed any changes). DQ designed the most amazing pool for us and transformed our backyard into a resort. DQ is an amazing guy to work with and his team delivers. He was transparent about the price and timeline and they put out the highest quality pools in OC (cant ask for much more than that). Dont waste your time interviewing a bunch of flakes like I did, just call DQ and get it done right the first time.

Swan pools installed my pool almost 20 years ago. They did a great job and I wanted them to do a remodel for me. I contacted them and they informed me if the project was less than 65,000 they aren't inclined to take the job. They referred me to Gardener pools who has been spot on since the day I called them. I signed my contract with them within 6 days. A Swan pool representative followed up with me a week or so ago and made sure I was being taken care of by Gardener. What great customer service! We contacted Swan Pools after an extensive search for a reliable pool company. Our initial contact was with designer Domie Q. who came to our home and explained to us in detail the requirements of building an inground pool. Domie is an extremely creative designer and his attention to detail made it very easy for us to visualize/decide what we wanted in a pool.
The assigned project managers were Andy, Mike and later in the project Juan joined the PM group. During the entire project, one of these PMs were always on site or were just a phone call away making sure everything was completed timely

While I knew that dealing with pool contractors would be difficult, what I've experienced with Swan Pools and their manager Mike and project manager Andy has been nothing short of unbearable. Long story short, the build started great and they had completed about 70% of the project in 6-7 weeks after they started, which brought us to early May. We just completed our 3 month pool project with Swan and are extremely happy with the results. You will always have issues in construction and the great thing about SWAN is that they will work with you to address those issues. Having a great project lead/manager like Mike is key to that. Project was pretty much on time and on budget. I shopped around and it was a fair price. Not the lowest, not the highest. Would def. recommend SWAN!

We went with Swan pools based on a recommendation of a friend. What really sold us on Swan initially was working with their designer Domi. Of all the designers we had come out, Domi was the only one we felt really listened to what we wanted from our pool. The initial meeting with Domi was about an hour or so, during that time he talked to us about why we wanted a pool, what we were expecting out of the pool and also walked the yard with us.
