Being a volunteer firefighter, I have helped on my share of roadside car accidents. It has always been a problem having light in the right direction at night. This got me thinking of how we could improve our lighting facilities for crashes. I came up with an idea to mount a bright 12 volt LED light onto a waterproof case, with a battery inside, and a flashing light to the rear.

My favorite part is being able to use the spotlight to light up crash scenes, downed trees or power lines and even flooded roads.
