My house is a 100+ year old Portland bungalow, and has all the quirks and challenges of an old house. Our front porch was 50 years old (based on some vintage beer cans we found underneath it during this project), and it was at end of life due to peeling paint and some dry rot. THE Remodel Group will be our first and only call for all future work we have done on our house. They were clear about what they could do and what things would cost for our bathroom remodel. They followed through and met all the goals we mutually set.

Promised finish my kitchen remodel and insulation bedrooms ceiling in 4-5 weeks, but ended up finished on 9th week! No weekly progress report. Bad communication! They promised have designer come alone with the whole job. But we have only see her once after we asked. The whole time, we are not inspired by them. Denied all their non-reality designs! If you know what you want, dont waste money on their design ideas. Good subs, good quality work. However, I won't recommend them to my family and friends! After project were done. There was no phone call or email. They even left the key lock outside

I called The Remodel Group to do a complete kitchen remodel for my mother's 1967 home. They were very professional and patient over the phone, then visited quickly to conduct an assessment and give an estimate. The owner, Steve, was great to work with and came out to do the assessment. They were very detail oriented in terms of their redesign plans. The project started almost exactly on time and closely followed the project schedule, which they detail via an online portal that is shared with customers. The on site staff were very professional and courteous towards my mother.

I was very disappoint in THE Remodel Group. They installed my fireplace in 2012. I recently had NW Natural come out and they found that the fireplace had not been installed correctly from THE Remodel Group. That there are several small gas leaks. I then call THE Remodel Group and asked for them to please come back and correct this situation. I was told that it was not their responsibility because the warranty was done. I stated, that it was never done correctly from the start. Again THE Remodel Group did not care. I was even told that since I had lived with it this long, it should not be a concern

I called in to get a bid on a small living room project. The gentleman that called (Steve, the owner, I believe) was very rude. He repeatedly told me that our project "wasn't worth his time" and the only way he'd come out to bid our project was if I would pay him per hour to even put together a bid.
I understand that I actually may not be worth his time, but to start a conversation that disengaged and harsh is not impressive. Even if my project was worth his time, I'd take my business where it would be appreciated.

We just purchased an older home with the bubble skylights summer of 2014. During the crazy, windy, rain storm that occurred during 2014 winter the skylights started to show it's age of wear and tear by leaking. We contacted a contractor that we knew and we decided to order new skylights and get this problem fixed right away. By the end of January we were looking for a new contractor to finish the job.

This project was the first renovation of any type that we had undertaken – and after everything was completed, it would have been hard to imagine a better partner to undertake this project on with than The Remodel Group.

We initially thought to just swap the carpet for tile, but typical of any project, our ideas landed us with a new tile master shower, replacement of a giant jetted tub with a freestanding soaker, as well as new countertops, sinks, toilets and fixtures

We had a room(Sun room style) added on to our home during this summer. We are very happy with this addition and enjoying this space with our family and friends.
Steve the owner is very knowledgeable about his work and very efficient with managing the project. His assistant Sasha is also a big help and I was very impressed when she matched our wall color perfectly from a sample in a book!
We were on a time crunch and Steve slipped only very slightly.

I hired THE Remodel Group to do a whole-house remodel, including all walls, ceiling and woodwork painted, all flooring replaced, and new kitchen counters and cabinets.
