I began this business 24 years ago when I purchased a fireplace and found that it did not work. After Calling the company where I purchased it, I discovered there was no customer service provided in this area. Therefore, I felt there was a great need to have a local fireplace store that would provide great customer service.
Our service department has over 75 years of combined experience. We provide service on all brands of stoves and fireplaces. We carry FireplaceXtrordinair, Lopi, Avalon, Napoleon and Heatilator wood, pellet and gas stoves and inserts and wood and gas fireplaces. Along with selling, installing, and servicing stoves and fireplaces we also do regular cleaning and checking of your wood, gas and pellet stoves and fireplaces and chimney sweeps.

We had an old woodstove that was an honest-to-goodness fire hazard. Also had an old gas free standing fireplace to replace the woodstove with- I called Fireplaces Stoves & More and they came out quickly and gave us an estimate, and then within a couple of weeks of the estimate we had the old gas fireplace installed. They ran new chimney sleeve, hooked up the gas, found a leak that the gas line had previously and fixed it, and made the old stove look like a million bucks! It was all scratched and dirty and it looks so great now, they painted it and brought it back to life- thoroughly please and

Took well over a month to get someone out to service our pellet stove, and that was only because I had to do a follow-up call to find out when we could get someone. Technician first put in a door gasket that was WAY too big and when trying to force the door closed, the door handle broke. He stated that he would replace that, and have called at least once to find out the status and have never heard back from them. The stove works worse than it did before it was serviced. Have gotten so fed up with the fact that there are NO good people that service pellet stoves in our area that we have decided

I've professionally designed, personally built, and installed 100's of custom fireplaces for almost 20 years. I also have a BA design degree in Architecture and I am certified and educated in proper building procedures, specializing in residential homes. I also help my clients while shopping and purchasing, to protect them from being ripped off. In this case, my clients/myself chose to buy the Fireplace Xtrordinaire 4237 from this company for close to $10k.
Unfortunately, manufacturers require buying from dealers for warranty and service issues, they are not aware if the dealers are installing
