Getting to know each client on a personal basis helps determine the unique features that will best suit that client's needs and preference in their new home. Our passion for home building makes it imperative that each of the custom homes that we build conveys a spirit of trust, competence, and personal service that survives long after the initial delivery.

Quality of life is a key feature of every Mike Cusack home. Our team of skilled builders and designers works closely with you to remodel your home to match your vision. We work with homes in Cedar Hills, Midlothian, Waxahachie, TX, and the surrounding area.

The perfect plan starts with all the time we spend together looking for ideas from previous homes we have designed, from pictures and from our time together answering questions about the different design options that are available. The attention to detail in any of Dallas, Texas based Mike Cusack's custom homes is obvious.
Services
I am a second-generation luxury home builder and general contractor with more than 30 years of experience in the homebuilding industry. I have over 15 years building under the company name, Mike Cusack Homes based in Dallas Texas. Mike Cusack Homes was awarded the Living Magazine "Home of the Year" in 2008 for a Sant Fe style home and again in 2012 for the major remodel of a Ranch style home in Ennis, Texas.
We have simplified the process of building a new home or remodeling into three easy steps. At Mike Cusack Homes we are committed to deliver our customer the house as we designed it and to come in on budget. First things first, you should visit a financial institution and get pre approval for the house you wish to build.
We will use all the information that was gathered during the development of the house plans to start the construction budget. The construction budget will put a price tag on all the various components of the construction process. The items listed in the construction budget will take into account engineering cost, permitting fees, labor, materials and in particular all items pertaining to the allowance schedule.
After the initial meeting we should have all the information we need to start a work on the floor plan. Once we complete the initial floor plan we will have another meeting to make changes to our conceptual plan. We don't always hit a homerun on the first try and in those situations we roll up our sleeves and we keep the design process going until the customer is happy with the floor plan design.
The builder and customers relationship does not end when the keys are passed from the builder to the homeowners; in fact it is just the beginning of part two of the relationship. The vendors, the subcontractors and the builder will be available to help with any and all issues that may arise after the move in.

We cannot say enough good things about Mike Cusack and we are so glad God provided him to be our builder. Mike met with us and with Steve, the architect, on the lot for the house even before we had purchased it. From the beginning he held our hands as we navigated getting the land plotted with the City of Dallas (not an easy process which took almost a year!) and then guided us to a Steve for the architectural drawings. He arranged multiple meetings with subcontractors to work out the details of the house. Mike is a second-generation home builder and general contractor with more than 30 years
