Specializing in masonry restoration with a conscientious emphasis on preserving our nation's historic treasures, Knapp Masonry is a successful and reputable firm, offering 30 years of expertise in the masonry restoration field, mentored by renowned Philadelphia architects and engineers. This project consisted of some precast stone patching and replacing an EIFS (Exterior Insulataion Finishing System) and window caulking.
The patching was difficult as. We first visited Lutheran Theological Seminary located in the Germantown Section of Philadelphia in 2013. The owner was concerned that stones were falling from. Knapp Masonry awarded the restoration of Bridgeview Place, a prominent condominium complex set in the old Arthur H. Thomas building near the Ben Franklin Bridge in Philadelphia.
Work performed included concrete and brickwork, along with stucco, painting and cleaning of a block-long complex of several buildings. Completed early 2014. Knapp Masonry receives a Grand Jury Award from the Preservation Alliance for Greater Philadelphia for our work on the St. Francis de Sales prioject!

Vern began his career in 1980 working for a reputable masonry restoration firm.
