I always have a ton of fun in this store. The employees are downright excellent, always smiling and always manage to say something thoroughly amusing. Knowledgeable, friendly, good luck finding someone like that at the big box stores. Every time I walk out their door I feel confident that I got a great deal, and I'm just satisfied in general. They have all kinds of stuff in this cozy store. Kinda brings back a few memories of the Country Store in yakima. Trust me, stop at C and H hardware first. You won't be disappointed and better yet, won't have to drive across town or to the next city over to

Spend your money here instead of at big corporations. I cant stand it when I have to go to a huge store to pick up one or two tools or supplys. You cant find anything, there is no one to help, The giant store is full of people. That was my day today Trying to look for hose clamps in one of those big corps. The person I asked about the hose clamps led me to the garden center lawn hoses... I waisted gas and a lot of my time. I decided to go to the family owned store near where I live 'C&H Hardware.' It's amazing in there they should have everything you'll need for your project or repair. Guess what

This place has what you need. I grew up across town (West Valley) and I learned that you can stop at every hardware store on the way to C&H and none of them would have what you're looking for... but C&H would. Case in point, I looked all over for a 3/4" to 1/2" drive for a breaker bar and they had it. Go to C&H first.

They're alright. They will eagerly get you direct fit items, but if you're just kicking the can trying to do some oddball project they are hit and miss on the spitballing, as it were. The last experience I had, I stated that I had burned through a harbor freight drill bit and needed something strong. I was sold the $10 drill bit as one that would do the job 4 times over. I used oil, and yes it went dull 1/4 of the way through. Back I go to the store, mention the issue with not so much as a response and am told for $13 I could get the beef cake bit.... now I'm out $10 for something I very clearly

I like supporting local stores. I like hardwares stores. As you can imagine, I really like supporting local hardware stores! C & H is in the vicinity of my work and I've been here a few times to grab a couple quick items. In general, this place is going to be bit more expensive that a big box hardware store.
They have a great selection of plumbing and fasteners (bolts, nuts, screws, etc) items. I've had to find several different fasteners over the past few month and they've had everything that I've needed! They also have respectable prices on some electrical items, such as an adapter to plug in
