Services
Hood awnings are the most popular style of fabric awning. They feature a traditional single-sloped top with triangular-shaped side panels and a valance running along the bottom perimeter. They are most often used for door and window applications. They typically project 3'to 4' out from the building, but can project up to 6' without support posts in certain situations.
All of our awnings are custom built to suit the needs of our customers. We have a wide variety of frame styles, fabric types, colors, and patterns to give your home or business the perfect look. Our awnings feature welded aluminum frames with the covers commonly screwed or can be laced to the frames.
Solution-dyed acrylic fabrics are by far the most widely used fabrics for awning applications. These fabrics are woven from individual fibers that are spun directly from a liquid. The dye is added to the fiber while still in the liquid state, so the color is even throughout the whole fiber. This contributes to it's excellent weatherability and superb colorfastness.
Prepare a cleaning solution of water and mild soap such as Ivory Snow, Dreft or Woolite (no detergents). If stubborn stains persist, you can use a diluted chlorine bleach/soap mixture for spot cleaning of mildew, roof run-off or other similar stains (see our Stain Chart for specific recommendations).
