Obviously there are a number of poor reviews for this company which made me nervous about using them. However, we couldn't be happier with the service we received. It was about a month between when we ordered our playset and when it was installed but that was because the set we ordered wasn't completely in stock. They were able to accommodate our schedule and the install went very smoothly. Our kids love their new place and we are very happy with our choice. I highly recommend this business.

Recently we decided to update our back yard and it turned out amazing! We dealt with Mike and from the beginning he was professional, arrived on time and interested in our project! What we really appreciated it that everything went as explained! We were told up front of the waiting times for ordering materials and as promised he would arrive on the said date! I utilized the Hitching Post in Delray Beach to purchase one of their high end storage sheds.
It was delivered and constructed on site in the time they had quoted. The finished product is amazing! They painted it the color I requested to match my house. The crew that was there fir several days did a great job. I pitched the upgraded shed with younger and groove wood on the walls and ceiling, with air conditioning, glass double doors and transom windows above door. We stained and sealed the wood. What a great experience from start to finish at the Hitching Post! The owner Mike was fun to work with and really made us feel like we were family. He worked with us on the size of our yard and came in well below our budget. The install was professional and went very smoothly. The install crew made sure it was exactly where we wanted it before anchoring it down with the hurricane straps. They even had an extra piece of synthetic turf on the truck they put at the base of the slide and ladder at no charge. Highly recommend this company for all your backyard needs. We purchased a pergola about 4 years ago and it's all rotten (about 1 year after installing it we noticed small cracks. We treated the wood, but nothing worked.)The material is not water/humidity resistant as we were told, we've been misled according to the technician we had inspecting it.
I would not buy anything from this company. The owner would not take any responsibility and after you complete the purchase, doesn't care for the customer.
The matter has been solved to our satisfaction.

I purchased a swing set from the Hitching Post within the past few months. Wow! I can't say enough great things about the entire experience. The sales reps were very informative and responsive. They answered all of my questions in a timely manner and were very pleasant to work with. Their outdoor showroom is great. BEWARE!!!!!
We just won a judgement against Mike Skiera in Delray court, which unfortunately but predictably, he is not honoring.
We had a pergola cover installed, the entire process or ordeal i should say, lasted one year, instead of 4 weeks. I am counting, initial installation run around, defective product, second weeks and months on end run around for him to finally admit it was defective, and more weeks and months and ignoring us to keep his word and fix it, until we sued him. We won, he did not show up, but hes been there before, knows the drill and now he is not paying us.
Wrong move because

We purchased a custom playground structure and artificial turf.
Here is what went right and wrong:
RIGHT:
1. Mike is very knowledgeable and provided excellent guidance about how to build our custom playset.
2. Playset was ordered and assembled correctly
3. It was a RUSH order to have by Thanksgiving and they DID IT!! Thank YOU !!
WRONG:
The installers failed to cap all the sprinklers which resulted in a hole forming under the turf in the middle of the whole area.

I've never met a business owner who tries to anger his customers like Mike does. He was rude, callus, and seemed generally clueless. I was told multiple price-points, I was rushed around the "showroom" and while I was ready to spend thousands of dollars, I decided I had wasted enough time there, don't need to waste my money, too.

It is unfortunate that what started to be an anniversary gift for my wife turned out to be a horrible experience and poor handling of a customer. I am in retail and deal everyday with the public, if we complete an order, get paid and complete the order to then find the salesperson did not charge enough, we in our business will deliver the product to the client even if it cost us due to our mistake. Hitching Post had a two chair set that was assembled together with a price tag on it. I was told I could get it in any color I wanted so I placed my order and paid them for it. We purchased two sheds from Mike and were told when to expect them. They were late, but we scheduled a date for the installs to be done at the same time, and they never showed up. Finally I called, and they had us scheduled for FIVE days later. I took the day off of work and had already emptied the contents of my old shed, which was now unprotected in the yard. Weeks turned into months with no communication unless we stopped by. Product was half completed when payment in full was demanded. After fighting with Mike (and receiving 7 calls in one day!), we finally told him to just drop it in the front yard and we would hire a more professional company to finish it. We feel robbed for paying for a job half done (and done poorly at that), but its better than continuing to work with them.
Run away and fast!
