Founded in 1996 by architect Richard Skendzel, Architecture Technology, P.C. has maintained an office in Traverse City, Michigan since its inception and continues to serve its clients by listening to their wants/needs and translating each project's individual program into a design for physical space.
Design services for alterations to 18,800 SF of existing, ground-floor commercial lease space for offices serving Michigan's Unemployment Agency. The project is located within an existing retail shopping plaza and included selective demolition, interior alterations, and site work. A new, one story, 2,470 SF historical museum whose mission is to strengthen a small rural community's identity by connecting the past and the present.
Interior and exterior building alterations and site improvements to convert an existing in-town residence into a professional office for the practice of clinical psychology. The project included functional changes to interior spaces as well as modifications to the building's interior and exterior to improve barrier-free accessibility.
New 7,000 SF parish hall addition to an existing Catholic church (with Cornwell Callahan Architects). The design includes a vaulted, overhead cupola-lit, 3,000 SF hall space, with supporting smaller meeting spaces, kitchen, atrium, offices, and circulation spaces.
