I hired “Riley’s Asphalt” to lay a driveway. Thank goodness I showed up right before he was going to lay the hot mix. I go to check out how they graded the A2 Base (Foundation material for the asphalt)!! He tried distracting me so his guys can cover the huge illegal mistake they made! They put crushed concrete as foundation instead of A2 Base! Out of the 5 quotes I got he was #2 most expensive. So I thought I wouldn’t have any material quality issues. Well after finding out where he got his material at. They had A2 Base but they even told me, “he charges for high quality materials but

The guys were detail oriented and kept a clean work site. The end product was great and I felt it was good value for money. There was an issue that was only found after the rains came and Pat and the guys were back out to address it quickly and effectively. I was very impressed with the follow up in this case. They could have said tough luck but they didn't. Unfortunately this is rare these days, but Pat and the team are old school, proud of their work and committed to the right end result. I would recommend Riley's to anyone.

I had Riley's asphalt do my driveway at my home here in Cibolo Texas. They were very responsive from the first point of contact all the way through completion of the job. I cannot say enough good things about the entire company. Pat and his two boys were all very professional and responsive to my questions, concerns and suggestions. This guy, he said his name was Richard Riley, went by the name , Buddy.
Work done was sealcoat and gravel grade. He said this coating would keep grass from growing thru, well after 6 months the grass is coming thru and now I have to do Round Up to rid of the grass. The cost of the work should keep any type of grass from growing.
Here is the card from that person. He said company was from New Braunfels. Maybe he was a fraud and maybe this needs to be looked into.I also have the contract w the Heading from this same company.

I know nothing about asphalt side of this business. I hired Joseph, a son, to repair my driveway and cement patio. The work was subpar and very unprofessional. If you hire him get everything in writing and detailed, if not, he will claim that he didn't say what he said. Be careful. He is also very rude and insulted both my wife and myself. He twist everything that is said and then calls you a liar if you disagree. Don't let him fool you with the "We stand behind our work" line. What he means is, if he's happy with the work then you better be because he won't fix it

This is a Top Notch company and crew. They did an excellent job on my 200-foot plus driveway with a turn around and a parking pad. They were very courteous and professional they explained the process thoroughly and they cleaned up their mess when they were finished :-) I highly recommend them for any driveway needs.
