Part art, part science, part landscape architecture, and part site animation, placemaking is difficult to define and perhaps even harder to achieve. Understanding the subtle influences of community character, contextual inspiration, scale, animation, and attitude, Chroma seeks to find the heart and soul of every commission we touch and reflect that back in a bold, dramatic expression of place that resonates with the people touched by the project.
Placemaking is particular, as are its components. Launched from a learned and applied background in landscape architecture and urban planning, Chroma applies a diverse suite of cross-discipline expertise to synthesize experiential environments of content and character. Project teams often include engineers, architects, artists, lighting designers, and others as situational complexity dictates.
