The goal of CMC Design Architect, P.C. is the development of designs that respond to the needs and wishes of the client, comply with local zoning requirements, appreciate construction limitations, remain cost effective and respect the environment. We are a small full-service firm with years of experience practicing in the New York City boroughs, Nassau and Suffolk counties.
Our projects have included residential alterations and enlargements, custom luxury home designs as well as commercial and institutional projects. A graduate of Cooper Union School of Architecture, Gary Lenhart, is the principal of the firm. With a background in construction and the building inspection field he brings a practical understanding and appreciation for the on-site construction process.

Gary and his staff are amazing. I didn't know anything about the process of extending my house. They took the time to explained every step of the process. They were always patient and kind. The drawings and work were spot on. My contractor never had an issue with the design that were laid out. When I submitted my plans to my town, every thing went smoothly. I would highly recommend Gary and his staff for any project you are doing.
