In 2002, the Harrison family completed building a cabin in the mountains of Central Utah. They used a generator for a couple of years, but didn't like the smell of gas, the noise, and the inconvenience. They contacted Rocky Mountain Power to see what it would cost to bring in electricity - over $100,000!

The amount of energy produced depends on the efficiency of your solar panels as well as the number of solar panels installed. We believe it is better to buy the highest performance solar panels in utah or what they call "investment grade" solar. Investing in a sun tracker or an adjustable mount may be something you want to consider, so you can change the angle of your panels throughout the day or change their orientation for each new season.
A NABCEP certified design engineer reviews every job and will design your solar energy system to meet your needs. We have licensed electricians with years of experience in off-grid, grid interactive, and back-up systems. Progressive Power is experienced and can build systems from single panel to megawatt production plants.
A 'net-zero' home and more. This PPS solar array shades a long walkway and enhances the entire garden. Walking under the support structure and panels is a 'solar experience' for family and guests alike. A 2009 Parade of Homes Winner! This solar array cuts their monthly bill and includes battery backup - critical circuitry, including security, communications and more, is always on.
At the time of the outage we had fourteen or so people in the house doing various things; in particular a daughter was downstairs with small kids watching a DVD with them. No one had noticed. I had to tell them we were having an outage and were on battery backup. The Progressive Power team members with which I worked were honest, friendly and punctual.

We LOVE our installation! They have been fabulous to work with. I am in awe of their timeliness, knowledge, and honesty. They were so understanding and patient with us as we learned more about the process and tried to decide what we wanted. They took care of all the permitting process which just made it a breeze. They got it all up so quickly and helped us with the transition. I will forever and always recommend them to anyone who asks! Really really awesome company.

I have been so amazed by the service from everyone that I have been in contact with at Progressive Power Solutions. I started my research years ago when an electric wholesale company said he would only recommend two solar installers in the state. I have done a lot of reading about solar and still these guys have answered all my questions and I had a LOT of them. They are upfront and honest about the work they and they stand by it 100%. Progressive has been a great provider of solar solutions for my home. I had them put an 9K Watt system on my home two years ago. After purchasing an electric car, I found I needed more and had an additional 4.5K Watts added last month. These guys know what their doing. Their sales rep, Ron Snow, was knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. This is a great company to work with and I would highly recommend them!

I purchased solar panels and had them installed by Progressive. The sales people and installers are professional and well-trained. Progressive's solar panels are backed with a 30-year warranty and gave the most bang for the buck (price per kilowatt hour). Plus, these guys care about you even after the sale. We get monthly updates on our power production and they helped us get the tax rebates for solar panels.
I recommend going with Progressive because they are more experienced than their competitors (several more years in the business) and will treat you well.

Progressive has been great since the beginning. I acquired estimates from nearly a dozen different solar companies and nobody could match their price, their service, or efficiency. With similar or even better equipment than other companies, the decision was simple after all the factors were considered. They were patient with my many questions and did well with problem solving when additional issues came up, without any additional cost to me which shows a lot about their integrity. We had Progressive Power install 38 solar panels on our roof after we did extensive research and got multiple bids. We chose Progressive because of the positive reviews we found on Google; their price was competitive with the other companies we talked with; and because they are NABCEP certified. I was very impressed that Progressive Power Solutions started our solar installation in the midst of winter. They had to remove about 6 inches of snow off our roof. They would have finished in three days, but was interrupted because of a snow storm. Even though it was cold, they were quick and precise in everything they did, and still finished in less than a week. They used a licensed electrician during the entire installation which many solar companies don't do. That, in itself, helped us feel safe about this company. We checked out several solar companies and found Progressive to be more competitive and straight up. The installers were good too. They didn't just slap them in but ran the conduit under our roof through the attic, so I looks clean. We are glad we went with the upgraded and more effecient solar panels. Our first bill was less than $19 and that was only half way through the month. The sales rep Ben was very knowledgeable and helpful through the whole process. I would recommend this company as reputable and reliable.

I did a lot of research before I choose Progressive Power Solutions. They installed 35 solar panels on my house on June 22, 2016. These are quality panels made in the USA (not China) and work great. Each panel has its own inverter rather than having only one inverter for all 35 panels. With this system your whole solar system won’t go down with the loss of an inverter.
I saved a bunch of money using Progressive Power Solutions over other companies using comparable panels and installation costs.
