Solar installation is a construction project that requires special skills to accomplish the goal of constructing an efficient and safe solar-electric generating system. Installing solar is important to protect from the rising costs of utility-generated electricity. When Kingdom Solar is hired to complete a solar installation, we do not sub-contract the installation out to outside sources.
System design is the process of determining a custom installation tailored to your specific energy needs and the structural and electrical framework of your home or building. Kingdom solar visits the home to gather all of the necessary information so that we can communicate to the homeowner options for solar panel roof layout, conduit runs, and electrical equipment placement.
Removals and re-installations are performed when a homeowner or building owner has existing solar installed on the roof, that needs to be removed, in order to complete a construction project. A good example of such a project would be a reroof. Removals and re-installations can also be done for the purposes of relocating the solar system to another location.
Upgrades and Add-Ons are when a homeowner's energy usage changes and they need to expand the size of the system by adding more solar panels in order to meet the demand of their current or future energy needs. The existing solar system is evaluated to determine the possibility of integrating more solar panels or a different inverter system.

I called Kingdom Solar on Friday 8/13/2021 and spoke with Chris. I told Chris I needed a new inverter installed and I had the inverter in my possession. I also informed him my system had been installed by Peterson Dean. Chris stated he would be able to install my inverter. I made appointment for Wednesday 8/18/2021.
Chris called back back about 30 minutes later and said he could have his technician come out the following day, Saturday 8/14. His technician John called me and set up the time for Saturday, first am. John arrived on time and had my new inverter installed in 90 minutes. John

I found Chris on Yelp and called to explain my need for a new installer after not being happy with the installer I had. I have a current system and was having a lot of issues with my installer/warranty. He was so friendly and calmly listened to my situation - and said he could help fix my panels. My system has been up and running smoothly!! He is very responsive to phone calls, texts, and the work that needs to be done! Chris did me a great service, getting to the problem by guiding me over the phone. As directed by him, I snapped photos of the inverters and breaker boxes. He gave detailed step by step instructions to find the cause. Very patient, very knowledgeable and very friendly. Found external breaker had tripped but was still in ON position, hence I did not suspect it. Luckily that was the only issue. Even after spending about an hour with me, he declined to charge anything. Decent, honest owner who does not gouge his clients.

Kingdom Solar (Chris) designed and installed the solar power system on our home last September and both the process of working with him and the performance of the system has been outstanding.
We started by getting four quotes from highly rated contractors. Couldn't be happier with Kingdom. Chris was in close contact through the entire process and the guys were all outstanding. I don't typically write reviews but felt like these guys earned it. Great experience -- the team went above and beyond to make our project a success. I'm the type who spends an hour researching the best salad spinner, so you can imagine I asked Chris lots of questions and went back and forth on design choices. I could not be happier with the work that Kingdom Solar did. I was floored at how quickly they were able to run computer models that predict energy generation from satellite images of sun exposure, give me a quote, install everything, and handle all permitting/inspections/paperwork. I had a licensed and legal solar installation less than a week after my initial inquiry, and Chris even took care of all the paperwork with PG&E to get my plan switched to one compatible with net use.

Last summer, Chris and his amazing crew installed an LG + SolarEdge PV system in our home and have been enjoying not having to pay the monthly electric bills, minus the mandatory PG&E connection fee (especially with having an EV). They were very efficient and clean with the install. They left no mess, and even made sure to paint the conduits to match the exterior of our house and replace any broken roof tiles during the install.
I am very particular about who I hire, and would definitely recommend Chris and Kingdom

Chris and his whole team are AWESOME. They are super hard working and didn't stop until the job was done and perfect. AND his price was the lowest of all the quotes I got.
I contracted with Chris to install 6.4KW system through my foam roof along with a new sub-panel. His roof seals were top-notch. I actually feel like my roof is better after they worked on it. The installation of the sub-panel had some challenges due to the old wiring in my house but he was able to do a great job sorting through it.
The system is running well and is producing exactly as planned.
If I could give Kingdom
