Wise Guys Home Improvement, LLC. was founded in 2006 by Robert Lindsey and his partner Ryan Parsons. Since then Wise Guys has formed into a high quality home building company with a reputation of being honest, efficient, and clean. Robert Lindsey is a man of many passions, talents, and skills. As an Eagle Scout and an avid backpacker, Robert set his eyes upon the hills of North Carolina, and enrolled in Brevard College to study Business. After graduation, he settled in for a couple of summers in Charleston, SC to find that dream job that awaits every hardworking college graduate, or so he thought.
He found himself in the middle of historical restoration, hauling debris and doing the grunt work of whole house remodeling. Despite the hard labor, Robert realized his passion for renovating older homes. He discovered the character within 150 year old walls, and found great satisfaction in bringing these relics back to life.

Rob Lindsey has actually remodeled 2 bathrooms for us and he does a wonderful job. He has some great ideas, referred us to good venders in the area and had a great group of subcontractors (electricians, plumbers, etc.) to help with the finished product. The last bathroom to be done was a major overhaul and it was accomplished in about 5 weeks time.

This is the 2nd time my husband and I have used Wise Guys Home Improvement. The first time was a gorgeous master bath redo and the finished product was an amazing transformation. So when we needed our backyard space done we knew who to call. Rob and his team are the best! They are courteous, professional and creative. My husband and I had our ideas and a budget in mind. I would highly recommend the Wise Guys for any project you may have, they will get it done at the highest standard of work and are a pleasure to work with. We have used Rob and his crew on several projects. He remodeled 2 bathrooms, installed hardwood floors in the master bedroom, various painting and electrical items. The last job he did was installing a raised concrete patio and updating our electric service. I have always felt I could count on him to do the job right. If I were still in Columbia I would continue to use Wise Guys

I had the most awesome experience working with Wise Guys. They completely gutted my bathroom, added some space from the closet next to the bathroom and gave me the bathroom of my dreams. They were professional and kept to the schedule. I was kept informed at every stage of what was next.
It is always difficult to live in a construction zone, but all the workers were so pleasant to work with and I enjoyed seeing them. They seemed to really enjoy the work and they were so excited for me when it was complete They felt like family and I appreciate everything they did for me.

Rob and Gene made our larger window smaller (before and after below). This was a crucial part of our remodel and we wanted to get it right. They also found our original siding and replaced a large bit of siding on the back of the house around the window. They were super professional and flexible. I’d use them again for anything else we need in our home.

Rob Lindsey and the entire crew at Wise Guys were incredible to work with as we did a full interior remodeling of our 1942 bungalow. Along with adding a second bathroom and replacing the kitchen and existing bathroom, all the old electrical and plumbing systems were replaced, insulation was added, the ceilings and walls were restored and painted. Everything was done with professionalism and maintained the look and charm we love about our older home. We could not have picked a more qualified contractor or a nicer person to work with than Rob.

A little slow getting started because contractor had other projects he was working on but after work started I couldn't be happier. We wanted to convert our master bathroom to be handicapped friendly. We also wanted all of the popcorn ceilings covered with new sheet rock and a crown molding installed. Rob was very easy to work with. He respected the things we wanted to do and he made helpful suggestions as well. His crew was super. They were good workers, friendly, polite and cleaned up after themselves every day. I forgot to say that we were living in the house while the work was being done. More

Our experience with Wise Guys was amazing! Rob and his crew worked wonders, transforming a master bath from blah to beautiful and much more functional. We now have a walk-in shower along with a water closet and a dressing alcove where our non-working jetted tub was. The work was done in a timely fashion with little to no downtime. Rob and each crew member took great care to see that everything was done to our satisfaction. We could not be happier with the results and highly recommend Wise Guys for your next project!
