Open cell spray foam is one of the two types of spray foam available today and it differs from its counterpart, closed cell spray foam, in a number of ways. First, open cell spray is not as rigid as the closed cell variant. This means it also has a lower R-value, which means it does not restrict the flow of heat as well as closed cell spray foam does.
Closed cell spray foam has several unique properties that make it perfect to act as home or commercial insulation. It has a high R-value and is tremendous at reducing the flow of heat. But it is also very sturdy; sturdier than open cell spray foam or fiberglass insulation. Because of this sturdiness, closed cell spray foam can be used to add additional structural support to a building, while still providing the expected insulation results.

They sold my 76 year old mother open cell foam even though she didn`t have a proper HVAC to support an unvented attic. This caused a moisture to build up and ruin the sheet rock on the ceilings which need to be replaced. They won`t return her calls now. When they did the work, they never even removed the old fiberglass insulation nor did they spray fire proofing on the foam. They took her money and ran.

Excellent company. Warm house and cool in the spring. The insulation reduce of taxes and gave us a credit this year on our income taxes. Wish we did this years ago .The crew leader even pointed out to me a few additional issues with our house that needed immediate attention. I like this is one and done! We don't need to reinsulate every 10 years. great value for our pocket and our home. Originally from the South and the Cold New England weather is brutal. I loved having a warm house. I would highly recommend this company! They were very patient with my questions - I always have a lot of questions

While most of these reviews are great regarding the work that was completed I cannot comment on that portion of this company. I had Vernon come out on 3/8 to do measurements for my second story addition and was told it would be a few days to get the estimate. Fast forward 2 weeks, I followed up with the office and was told they were working on it. After giving it another week, I called back and was told I should get it over the weekend but never received it. I ultimately went with another company who came out and did the estimate and install in a week. I would have liked to work with this company

The experience was great from the first meeting, through the quote process and all of the time Vernon takes to find a solution that works for YOU and your family. I never felt pressured to buy nor do “the whole job”. Vernon spent plenty of time with me at all hours of the day going through potential options and ultimately helping to identify a solution that worked best for me and allowed me to phase the project over time.
His crew is respectful and neat and the craftsmanship is sound! Not only that but I was a little skeptical how big a difference this would all make and am pleasantly surprised

Vernon and the team at NEPI are absolutely fantastic. They completed a full attic insulation on our house. Our house is nearly 50 years old and we had a lot of issues with insulation and air flow in the house, especially when using the fireplace, we'd constantly have to adjust the thermostats because of the increased air flow. We knew we had to insulate the attic, but had a lot of questions about the types of materials that would be used. Two other companies we contacted before NEPI couldn't offer us a solution that we felt comfortable with and, frankly, didn't seem to take our concerns seriously

We had Vernon come to our home to discuss our options on spray foam. He was very knowledgeable and offered solid advice on what should be done at our home, such as how much insulation we should have, what areas should be targeted for maximum effectiveness, and the installation process. We spoke with a number of different vendors, and Vernon was always honest, straightforward, and responsive. His prices were very fair.
Unfortunately, we ended up going with another vendor because of the type of spray foam they offered, but I have no doubt that Vernon and his team would have done the job well.

Top Notch!!! Highly recommend. Down to earth people, great pricing, punctual. They did a fantastic job in our crawl space. Pouring rain all day and they had to access through our finished basement....I literally couldn’t tell they had been in my home. Not a single trace left behind. A sign of a prideful contractor.

The best insulation company I know. Would definitely recommend. The price is right!! We were delayed months by the condo association's approval and Vernon and his team were completely patient and showed great customer service, along with providing all of the documents needed in a timely manner. When the job was completed, the teamed cleaned up the area well. However, there was still an area that was pouring in cold air, so Vernon himself came to seal it, free of charge. Thank you so much Vernon and your team, I really appreciate all you have done. God bless you all.
