The worst experience with any contractor in the last 10 years! He was working mainly on demo and tiling of two bathrooms, which was disastrous beyond belief. It also took him a month to do the demo and put a floor tile down. In that time, he also did work on dryer vent fixes, installing lights in the ceiling (crooked, but should work fine), and drywall repairs, but I'm not going to comment on those tasks - they were done reasonably well, but if you care about details, don't let him touch that, either.

Jeff is a competent remodeler, but according to many reviews found elsewhere he got excellent ratings in 2012-14 and since 2015 his ratings have plummeted to one star. The reason is that Ramsey now shows up around 10:30 AM (if he shows at all), disappears frequently to pick up individual needed items, spends significant time on the telephone, and knocks off around 3:15. When he fails to show at all, he does not answer his phone or text messages. He provides a litany of excuses when he finally does. One was that he never bothered to warn us, but his family wanted to celebrate his birthday. The upshot

We have hired Jeff to work on many projects in our home since 2011. He remodeled our master bath, our kids’ bath, finished our basement (including adding an egress window, moving our HVAC, designing the perfect floor plan for what we wanted, and a 3/4 bath), installed a new front door, and a few other things over the years.
Jeff is always honest, and stands behind his work. He had an employee do some not-so-great work at one time, and he took responsibility and came back to do the job right.
Right now he’s fixing damage from a basement flood, and was gracious enough to come out almost immediately

Ramsey Builders played a vital role in remodeling my kitchen. They arrive promptly, they are polite and highly professional and they do an excellent job. It was largely carpentry work: new doors, somewhat elaborate moulding and baseboards, etc. Jeff is a modest person, but his college degree is evident from the quality of his analyses and the clarity of his explanations. The customer can always understand how he will solve the problem and exactly what the needs are. He pays close attention to detail and delivers an impeccable, first-rate product.

I highly recommend Ramsey Builders. LLC. My husband and I had so many questions on to what to do with our bathroom in our 1847 stone farmhouse and Jeff addressed every question with answers that we could not have dreamed of. Our access door to bring furniture to the second floor had to be reconfigured in another room and our floor had to be reinforced which was all necessary before we even started the bathroom remodel. Jeff and his staff were on time, very clean and extremely skilled in every step of this project. His creativity on our issues was originally what sold us on Jeff and we soon found

Jeff remodeled and re designed our very outdated, tiny 1950's style kitchen. I have recommended him very highly to neighbors and co-workers. He was always reliable, timely and professional. He and his crew cleaned the work site well every day. His attention to detail and perfectionism is so appreciated. He is a very talented carpenter. We love our new kitchen design and transformation!

We have had Jeff work on several projects. His work is excellent. He has good follow through, arrives on time and does what is needed in a professional manner. What more could one ask? Will definitely use again.
