Friendly, helpful and very reasonably priced. Paid 1/3 of the price I paid at Auqua Pool Supply in Ukiah for the same thing. I would highly recommend Moirs to everyone.

I've never been to Moirs as I live in Abilene, TX. We recently had the worst storm in 100 years, experiencing minus temps, power and water outages that lasted days. After the storm passed, our pool pump was destroyed. We called multiple West Texas pool companies and were told it would be months before they would be able to get pumps back in stock as many were effected. My sister is from Ukiah and called Moirs. I believe it was Don who assisted us in locating a new pump. The pump arrived today and we are beyond grateful. Thank you so much!!!

Just walked in for 1" chlorinated tablets, was immediately greeted, asked what I needed and he proceeded to carry my goods to the register.
I was in sensory overload with all the selections of goodies!!! He said that in 2 weeks they are getting their summer shipment in... I will have to stop back in and wander aimlessly!!! Maybe I will be able to see Bubba, the store dog!!!

We just bought our 2nd Spa from Moirs. The first one was still in good shape but we wanted more therapy jets. They are great to work with. We never felt pressured to make a decision. In fact, we stopped in several times before "taking the leap". Very knowledgeable about spas. Plus the store has lots of related goodies. They donated a spa to the Lions Club for a fundraising event so the community benefits from their generosity. Thats one reason I shop there.

After buying a pump that was a new motor with an old case, the motor went out within five minutes I open up the case to used, rusted motor. Gave solutions but Don continued to talk over me and wanted to hear nothing. Did not even want to fix the problem. Just sent me back my money and left me to dump a broke motor. If he would have given me 5 minutes on the phone to get out all the issues I had( was not yelling or name calling) then we might have been able to get to a solution. Even drive 1.5 hours out of our way to go back and get a working pump for this holiday weekend! Sad!! And then the comment

Stay far away they are liars they sold me a pump for my pool and said that the outer case was old but the motor was new when installed did not work open the lid to see if the motor had calcium deposits and looked older than the motor that it was replacing to me that is called a bold face lie do not do business with them unless you like to be lied to scammed and not treated fairly I know you can't please everybody but when you've spent upwards of 3+ thousand dollars and familyHas spent the same and you can't go above and take a slight loss at this point to help your customer out

Moir's is fantastic! Teresa (the owner) is absolutely one of the nicest people I have ever met. She has helped me tremendously with my sand pump and filter. All of the employees at Moir's are fantastic. Family owned and operated and they can help you with any pool need. If you have ANY pool needs go see Moir's before Walmart!!!!

WOW! I'd driven by Moir's several times in the past but never gone in. First of all I was shocked at the size of the building and inventory. Everything under one roof from Pools and Spas chemicals not to mention all the high quality patio furniture. I'd been looking for a spa to purchase but every store I'd been in only had a limited selection. Moir's must of had 10-12 spas on the floor. My wife and I were thinking of purchasing and installing our own above ground pool. Since we have never dealt with a pool store or manufacturer before we started off by talking to the folks at our two local pool stores. We walked out of each store not impressed at all.

Instead of politeness, and encouraging us to get our spa supplies from them, I was told curtly, "Did you buy the spa from us? Well, you didn't so it looked like you are out of luck."

Well, my, my, MOIR'S may be the only game in town, but it is a small town where word travels.

Given the many negative comments here, I'd suggest you brush up on customer service.

I am very satisfied with my purchase here! Very friendly and didn't hover too much if you know what I mean. We went in to look and were swept away! So made the purchase on a Sat any between the rain and the upcoming holiday they were still able to deliver my backyard getaway that following Mon!! So great full to start filling her up! Who knew the thing I would have to wait the longest was the electrician!! What I get for having bad timing I guess. Very satisfied with Moir's.

Moir's is fantastic. Very friendly and support oriented. Don and his wife are always trying to make sure the customer is happy. I can't say enough good things about them. I will definitely be back!

There are pool stores, and then there is moirs. Exelent inventory, knowalagable staff and great inventory. Their instore demo areas showcase their top wares and are very impressive. Don, who may be the owner, has personaly helped me several times and is a fantastic guy. 6 out of 5 stars.

For hot tub repairs..Irwin..the tech at Moirs is absolutely outstanding! We have had to call him out to work on our hot tub three times. Everytime Irwin was prompt...very focused on our problem abd came up with creative solutions...he was courteous...very knowledgeable and took the time to explain things and answer our questions. We give him 5 stars! The staff at Moirs are caring and provide outstanding customer service...the best in Mendocino county...

Last spring my wife and I went to Moir's to buy a pool and a hot tub (called a spa these days, but I still call them hot tubs). We had a complicated plan that involved quite a bit of excavation due to living on a hill, some cement work, deck work, and a gated fence. Don and his wife spent a tremendous amount of time with us making suggestions, explaining details, answering questions (and I had a LOT of questions!) and recommending someone to do all the work.

A few weeks ago I noticed my hot tub was not hot, of course this was after a long day of aches and pains and I was super bummed. I fiddled with the controllers and pouted my way back to the house.

I googled hot tub repairs, with Aqua Man (lake port) coming up as my solution. I called Aqua man and spoke to "Scott" who said he could come the following week for $180.00 just to see the hot tub and then go from there. So booked the appointment, what else could I do..??

I bought a spa from them four or five years ago. It has started to leak water from the jets and Moirs does not have a technician to fix the problem. I was advised to try and locate the leaks and they would give me the parts. There were so many leaks that I did not want to tackle the problem. My suggestion, don't sell products you can't service!

I'm very happy with the info I got here before buying a Doughboy. Their advice and service since then has been all I could wish for. I'm about to buy a spa from them because of their excellent service and honesty.

While I wanted to "shop local"... I tried. Moirs appears to be the only game in town when it comes to spas. The service I obtained in my search for my first spa was horrible at best. The young man didn't really seem to know the products. He never introduced himself to me or even asked my name. While I told him I was shopping for a spa he barely gave me the time go day to compare the different spas they sold, other than price range and that "this one is my dad's personal spa."
