Tropical just finished installing our replacement doors. We are very satisfied and pleased that we use Tropical rather than other suppliers.
First off the estimate. We had had other estimated prior to talking with Tropical. What a difference. No sudden big discounts if we places teh order that day. Much more detail about the product and cost of product and installation. Up front about the time frame for delivery and installation. It’s not short right now. Also able to answer questions about items in the estimate answers rather than no response.
The installation crew were great. My first impression

I called Tropical Windows, at the suggestion of a friend who had their old windows replaced and made an appt for them to come out and give us an estimate. The gentleman came out within a couple days and gave us a written estimate for all 16 windows which was reasonable. We arranged for them to do 1/2 and the other half after the first of the year. It took 8-12 weeks for them to be made and shipped which they explained in advance. When the day came for them to be installed, one of the workers was injured the day before so they came the following day and they sent 2 crews so that it would be finished

The windows look great and installation was quick and easy. My big complaint is that the screens all fit so loose that the bugs get in. Not a good fit at all. I didn't notice until the weather cooled down and we opened our Windows to let in fresh air. We're also letting in all the bugs!. For the cost of our windows I think the screens should be a better fit

Had single pane windows replaced with double pain/argon gas between panes for sound and heat/AC insulation. While supply-chain and COVID problems delayed them, they came 1 month ahead of the "4-5 month" delay. The first crew of 2 was joined by a second so that they could finish in one day. All the crew was overwhelmingly polite (said the Northern transplant to the southern business), only quiet and happy conversations overheard, and broom cleaned inside, all neat outside. I would recommend them, as well as use them again. Per Duke, both days since the install have seen lower electric

I had a brand new home built in Weeki wachee and one window got messed up during the shipping process. They got the order placed right away for a new one and when they came to install it Erick had it fixed in less than 30 minutes and also worked around my schedule. Their service side is doing exceptional! I would defiantly recommend these guys for my future work.

I recently had my screened lanai converted to a sunroom by this company. Their preparatory and installation work was outstanding.
Pros:
*All staff (sales person to installers) were courteous and arrived on time
*Installers worked efficiently and were meticulous in their measuring, installations, etc
*Quality of work and products excellent and completed in timely fashion
*Business owner made site visit before and during install
*Phone calls and my questions were answered by office staff
Cons:
*10 week lag time from contract to install but I was advised of this by the sales rep when I signed

I would NOT recommend this company to anyone simply for the fact that the customer service I received over the phone was terrible and totally disorganized. I called on a Monday and spoke with a lady about installing a window in a new business I'm opening. I asked for someone to come out and give me a quote and she said it would be better if I could call back with the measurements for the window I'd be needing. I drove out to the business, got the measurements, and called back the next day. I gave a different lady the measurements and a general overview of the project. She said it

Had all our windows replaced a few years ago. Price was fair. The installers had a few problems with the install but the company is reliable and they stood behind their product and install. They have one very highly skilled installer that will repair your sliding glass door. That saved a bunch of money on replacing it. Overall, a very solid company.
