Services
S.T.O.P. Alarm Inc is celebrating 38 years of providing security peace of mind and protection for our customers this year. When Ron and I started S.T.O.P. Alarm in 1978, we worked out of our home, had one paid installer, (neither Ron nor I got paid) and were monitoring our accounts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
When K-TIP Radio was sold to Mayberry Broadcasting Company in 2000, the alarm system came with the purchase. I am told K-TIP Radio was one of the first customers when S.T.O.P. Alarm first started. S.T.O.P Alarm has been terrific to work with. We have had very few problems but when they did occur, S.T.O.P. Alarm was there in a timely fashion and the problem was fixed.
S.T.O.P. Alarm will be moving to a bigger building in a better location in coming months, company co-owner Ron Irish said. He said his firm has met the city's demands, and the Project Review Committee has given approval to proceed. If all goes as planned, the alarm company, located at 758 N. Prospect St. for the past 14-15 years, will be moving to 65 S. Hockett St. by July.
And thank you for your interest in S.T.O.P. Alarm! As former Mayor of the great city of Porterville, you might have heard of my name. However, I feel that relationships are important to my business, and it is important to know who you, the customer is dealing with. I spent 9 months in school. Then, I was sent to N.A.S. Miramar in San Diego (the original TOP GUN squadron!) for more electronics training - working on the F4B Phantom aircraft.
Wendy has been working for S.T.O.P. Alarm for 11 years. In that time, she has gotten to know a lot of the people in our community and is proud to know that she is part of a team that is helping them feel safe in their homes. Llesica has also been a volunteer at Sierra View District Hospital. She says "Being a "Pink Lady" was the best thing I've ever done, and I can't wait to be able to do it again when I finish school."

Report
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!...This company is known to screw people for their money. I have recently posted, but here's a follow up on what's happened. We tried over and over to negotiate with them to take off the dollar amounts for the work they didn't do. (That's all we were asking for, just to take off what they didn't install and we would be happy to pay the rest, in which we had already paid over half of the contract) They wouldn't work with us and kept playing games. We suddenly got a letter from their Laywer demanding money. They are a joke. Come to find out
