BenBeck II, Inc. dba Beckham Septic Tank and Ditching Service, evolved from a company that began as Beckham Vault Company in 1947. Bennie C. Beckham started the company doing burial vaults and cemetary work utilizing manual labor with shovels and picks. The manufacture of precast curbing for open wells and septic tanks was soon added.
In the mid 1950's, Beckham purchased the first hydraulic backhoe/loader in Coffee County and afterwards, installed a two-way radio system for operations improvement. More efficient equipment was purchased for installing vaults and septic tank systems. The vault services were discontinued as operations expanded to site preparation which included lot clearing, debris removal, demolition, excavation and installing underground utilities.
Services currently provided include site developments for residential subdivisions, restaurants, banks, retail and multiple projects for our military installation. Mr. Beckham was one of three founding fathers of the Alabama Onsite Wastewater Association, Inc.

Excellent company and very courteous, expedient, and professional. Had an emergency when my septic tank backed up over the thanksgiving holiday. Mr. Beckham called me and said he was getting a crew together to come help me out. Mr. Beckham called me back and said they were on the way. When they arrived they were quick to get us back in working order. They answered all my questions and even though it was an emergency over a holiday weekend the price was very reasonable. This is truly a company that cares for its customers. I will definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone for your septic

Awesome experience... I was having problems with my lines backing up slightly. Beckham came the first time and had to get the sewage pump removed by the city. They came back after the pump was removed a second time and fixed the problem. Excellent customer service and very friendly to talk to. Thanks for all the help!

Mr. Beckham helped my family when we were struggling. Our fill(?) Or drainage lines from our septic tank were installed professionally by his crew and he even oversaw the work to guarantee it was done right. After 15 yrs It's held up damn good with only minor incidents within the last 5. I am thankful that he gave us a break and worked with us on payment even though we had never met before that day.. hard too find good business men like that nowadays.

No one wants to do this job, and no one is more appreciated in this time of need. Beckham answered the phone minutes after 7am and had staff on site in less than an hour. Our septic system is functioning as designed and we received great instruction in how to keep it that way. Also, our yard was left in good repair. Much appreciated.

Great Service! We had a sewage back-up problem with our septic tank/system. Beckham team (Heath and Ziebol) went out of their way to work us into the schedule quickly. When they arrived they pumped the tank and took the few extra minutes to point out problem areas. The workers were friendly, courteous and careful with the truck. They also provided options for related/future repairs without selling me anything specific.
