We stopped in for the first time and were happy we did. Even though they were getting ready to close no one ever pressured us to head towards the door. All the vegetable and herb plants were in great shape. There is a great variety of other plants, trees and other gardening items for both indoor and outdoor gardening. At the register the cashier gave suggestions for the different types for in ground and container planting. This was great advice. We will definitely be making many more return visits.

Called ahead asking availability of specific plant. Provided common and Latin name. Was told they had in stock and was quoted a price. Told them I would be on my way to pick them up. Arrived and not only did they fail tove them (had not seen them in 12 years), but everyone acted like they had not said they had them. Will never return.

This was my go to nursery. But they sold me a front door mat that wasn’t being made anymore that you but inserts for.. quite expensive. They said the insets were not available due to Covid so I tried all season to buy then; checking often. I tried today and still none available. I finally went online and found out they aren’t being made anymore. Haven’t been made for 2 years!!
I called. I asked if I could exchange for the new version. They said no!! I didn’t have my receipt. I have a loyalty acct plus a credit acct they could check!!!! This was false representation of a product… it wouldn’t

This is the nicest, prettiest garden center in the area. It has both inside and outside sections, and lots of everything you would ever need. Their flowering plants are gorgeous, and everything is really healthy. They've done some recent remodeling to what was already a pretty place, and now it's even nicer. All the employees are helpful and super nice. I love coming here!

I made it before closing on Sunday. They were nice about asking me if I needed help. They definitely have enough people to help you out. The selection is enormous. If you need trees, potted plants, indoor plants etc. I wanted to browse more! There is be also a huge selection of terra cotta and glazed pots. It's nice fir people who want to paint their own pots or want inexpensive pot options.

Farm and garden is great, especially if you are looking for a unique plant you might not find elsewhere. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They helped us pick out plants for a pool deck planter that will survive the harsh sun. We also found two really nice fiberglass planters that were on sale 40% off. I would highly recommend checking them out. They also have some of the largest orchid specimens I have seen at a nursery.

I was in the area (from Tampa) for Marie Selbg Botanical Gardens. I was recommended this store from an online hoya group I am in. They have a great selection of Hoya sp. The begonias were pretty extensive, as were the pepperomia sp. I loved the bonsai section as there was good variety of trees and pots in variable price range. All the plants looked healthy and the staff outside went out of their way to ask us if we needed anything. Overall an amazing experience in the 15min I was able to spend there. I am well traveled with garden centers and I will be back, with friends in tow! Till next time

A family run business who's values run deep. They treat their employees like family, offer a selection of plants and garden decor that cannot be matched. Mrs. Amber, the manager, has personally gone out of her way to help me. I cannot recommend this business enough. I would drive out of the way to shop here, and I hope you will too.

We have shopped here several times over the last few years since we stumbled upon it. Every time has been a wonderful experience. It has one of the best selections of merchandise/plants around (we have shopped nearly every garden center in central Florida). The staff is always kind and helpful and the prices are good. We always stop in while in the area and highly recommend this store for gardening enthusiasts.

Love this store. They have lots of help out in the plant area and everyone is willing to answer questions. I was there yesterday and the man who helped me(had a strong Boston accent) was delightful. Knew all the plants and whether they would grow in a certain area. He was great. Younger fellow directed me to a section of plants and offered to help in anyway. The store has so many beautiful pots and planters; there plants are so healthy and I have always had good luck with them. If I could give you more than 5 stars, I would.....

We were in Sarasota for 2 days & stopped in & I fell in love with a big bowl planter. We live 2 hours away & they didn't have 2 of the same ones & I need 2. While I was there I did ask if they could be ordered & shipped & was told no. After returning home I called & asked the maker of the planter to see if I could get it closer to home. I was told that it is a competitive market & they wouldn't share that information, that people travel all the time for pottery & I should just drive back if I like them. We have patronizing Farm and Garden for a long time. Nothing super special, we pick and purchase without the need of counseling or customer service. Yet the only time I had a customer service interaction was one of the worse in Sarasota, Farm/Garden/ or otherwise. Always trying to stay away from the "Big" guys, like Home Depot, however is time for us to give Farm and Garden a break, a very long long break. They have treat people better, we are the one who pays for their bills.

I wanted to love this store and had a great experience buying a pot and expensive plant which I paid to have potted and delivered at a cost of over $500. It was my fault for not getting the return and warrantee info upfront because the pot and plant I bought in Nov only had a 30 day warantee. I understand about the pot but the +-$250.00 hydranga tree dropped all its flowers...ok, it was probably in shock from the replant, but 5 months later it looks straggly and the only flowers that have regrown are 2 small groups at the top. This store planted the tree using an expensive soil just for this
