Services
We can help you determine what type of pruning (trimming) is necessary to maintain and/or improve the health, appearance and safety of your trees. Remove limbs that interfere with wires, building facades, gutters, roofs, chimneys, or windows, or that obstruct streets or sidewalks. We can help you decide whether or not a tree should be removed and if necessary, we have the skills and equipment to safely and efficiently remove trees.
Contact us today to receive a bid on your line clearance and right-of-way maintenance work. We understand how important trees can be to homeowners and to communities. After all, we're proud of our city as well. While we care for our green communities, the electric companies have an obligation to provide safe, reliable electrical service.
You may pick up all the unprocessed wood chips you can load yourself at our brush recycling center near 32nd & Jardot. Or we can load your truck for a $15 loading fee. If you need a lot, we can deliver approximately 10 cubic yards to any location in or near Stillwater for a $80 delivery fee. Additional fees apply for deliveries outside city limits.
Caring for trees regularly is more cost effective than neglecting them and dealing with the damage. Studies published in the Journal of Arboriculture have demonstrated that it is actually cheaper to regularly prune trees rather than neglecting them, and cleaning up the resulting damage! That is why many cities have tree care crews, or they contract with tree companies, to regularly prune and care for trees.

If you are in need of tree removal, stump removal or the other services that Payne County Tree Service offers, I can recommend them highly. A 50' Sweetgum tree's roots were interfering with my sewer line and the tree needed to be removed. This was no easy task as the area around the tree was only about 8' wide on two sides (pond on one side, garden wall on the opposite) and removing all the debris meant numerous trips with a small front loader. The PCTS team could not have done a BETTER job and it only took 1.5 days. The price, too, was VERY fair! THANK YOU!!

After a recent ice storm, a limb on a tree, next to my house, split and part was on the roof and the other part was dangerously dangling from the tree. It was frightening to think the limb could come down and cause major damage or harm someone. I called Payne County Tree Service. They were very prompt to check out the situation and were able to remove the limb the same day I called. It’s comforting to know the limb has been removed completely and safely. I very much appreciate their prompt, professional service and reasonable fees. I highly recommend this company. The employees were very friendly

I had a large tree by my house and they did a great job taking it down and cleaning it up! They also ground down some stomps in the yard. Licensed, bonded and insured and was cheaper than all the other quotes.
They took down three trees, grinder four additional stops in a day and half. I was very pleased will definitely refer them.
