Owner Tony Zack was born and raised in Georgetown, S.C., where he honed his skills in the electrical and supply trade, hands-on, as well as throughout Florence and Hartsville, S.C., since 1995. An alumnus of The Citadel, Zack bought a Mister Sparky Electrical franchise here in 2010, with the desire to raise the level of standards he'd normally seen in the industry.

Clyde came the same day we called and he was able to fit us in at the end of his day. He was so very nice! However, our so called issue was a non issue when he came to fix the faucet. Somewhat embarrassing but he did explain that there was possibly a piece of dirt or such that may have dislodged from our jiggling. It was crazy … he was a “ magic man” lol! We will definitely call again and request Clyde for any other issues. Btw, his name was not listed on the drop down menu that I could see??? Anyway, very pleased!

Called Benjamin Franklin Plumbing out because our toilets were backing up. we had 2 other plumbers couldn't find the problem. They were able to figure out the problem and fix it. Leroy and Warren have worked very hard to get this problem fixed They are very knowledgeable and respectful. I appreciate their hard hard work I dont remember the other workers that helped out but they all worked very hard to get the job done.

Consistency!!!! Richard was amazing today!! Extremely courteous and very professional!!! He wasn't sure what our fix might be and explained everything, how it was fixed and answered all our questions. We have had 2 different plumbers and everything is exceptional!!!! We have had no issues with scheduling and they show up!! We will not use anyone else for our plumbing needs!!!! Top notch service!!!!

Crew sent me a notification that they were on their way. They were professional and efficient with the installation of a new natural gas line for my standby generator. Generator install went swiftly. Power was isolated and back on in less than 3 hours. Clean installation and crew stuck around to make sure everything works as it should.

I needed three bathroom sink faucets replaced. They said the plumber would come with several to chose from. He brought only one and said there were others but this is the one that most people like so he didn’t bring them. I didn’t like it but would have no choice. Obviously it was the most expensive because he quoted $1200+ for the job. He said I could go buy my own and they would put them in. Still a big number and they couldn’t do it for several days. I don’t get angry easily but this was too much. They are overpriced and very unprofessional. The guy they sent here was downright flippant

We had a real mess on our hands! Water was leaking from the sink and underneath as well. We called Benjamin Franklin in the morning and the receptionist was so nice!! Usually you get, “ sorry, we are too busy…not today” but she said, “we will do our very best to get a technician out to your home today!” What a pleasant surprise! It was later in the afternoon but Richard called first, and upon arrival had his booties over his shoes to come in, quickly assessed the situation and told us the price, then got right to work. Richard cleaned everything up and made sure we were pleased before

Isaac arrived on time & was very professional & thorough. He diagnosed a recurring problem that I've had with a main sewer line clogging. He took extra time to put a camera down the line & found the source of the problem, which was completely contrary to what another company had said it was. Neither of us can figure out where they put the camera! Isaac was very knowledgeable & very personable & professional. I appreciate the fact that BFP came to my house within an hour of me calling! I will definitely be using them in the future to fix the root ball causing all my problems. Highly recommend this

At 8 pm I noticed toilet the water was running continuously. I opened the tank & could not find the chain that lifted the flapper. I turned off the water at the tank & promptly called Benjamin Franklin. It was after hours but I received a text within minutes. They worked me in within the next morning. The technician was Clyde, he went right to work on my problem. It was quickly & professionally handled. Thank you for such quick & complete service.

I had Mr. Sparky (Brad Gehrman) come to my hone as part of a first floor renovation. They moved several ceiling can lights and installed several new light fixtures. I also had them replace an underground cable for my landscaping lights. They came on time and stayed with the job until it was done. They also cleaned up after they were done and they did it all for a reasonable price. Great job all around. Highly recommend them to all.

I recently moved into a new home and had them do some major work. They did an excellent job, but they look for ways to increase the bill by suggesting things they think I need at the time (i.e. like new smoke alarms.) They are very expensive and I probably could have found a more affordable company if I had more time to shop around. My mistake. I have found a more affordable electrician locally.

I called Mr. Sparky on a Sunday afternoon with an emergency electrical issue. After explaining the issue the tech told me it was a really easy fix and would walk me through it over the phone instead of charging me a fee to come fix it. He had the issue straightened out in under 5 minutes. Now a days it's hard to find a reputable business that will try and help you out instead of just charging you. Overall great experience. I would recommend.

OK I asked for an appointment between 3-5 pm was told would get a call 1/2 hr before they come. I also asked not to come between 2-3. so what happens I get the call at 1:30pm. then since the Mobil home is old and didn't have a box for the cealing fan he could not put the new one in. Didn't cost me anything but a waste of time. Told me to get a handyman to do it. Will NEVER call them again
