Frugal Movers are the cheapest, slowest, and most disrespectful movers and moving company I've ever worked for in my entire life. Mike spence is definitely and without a doubt the worst employer you could ever imagine. He chain smoked in the truck while moving people's furniture and other belongings.

The team at Frugal Movers just helped my parents move into their condo. It was a big move, and my parents and I found the owners & movers to be super helpful and professional at every step of the process! They were flexible and accommodating with scheduling, and they provided a very reasonable quote for services. On the day of the move, they were patient, diligent, and thoughtful. They were clearly taking good care with every item they moved, while also working efficiently. We very highly recommend Frugal Movers to folks in Franklin County. They made moving day- which can be so stressful- an enjoyable experience.
We called several moving companies for quotes and Frugal Movers not only came in with the lowest bid but they were quickest with their bid and the most responsive to our questions.
Our move was tricky since half of our belongings were in storage, and we were moving from a very small apartment to a large house. The owner- Mike- worked with us to design the best sequence of events, and made suggestions to make the move easier.

These guys were great! This was my first time hiring movers so I was a little nervous. After today, I would hire them again in a heartbeat. They arrived early, packed up my 2nd/3rd-floor apartment quickly (with careful consideration to my belongings), drove from my apt in New Hampshire to my new place in CT, and were eternally optimistic about fitting everything into my new and smaller space. They were a joy to work with! They finished earlier than expected and thus charged me less than they originally quoted me. I couldn’t be happier!

Mike Spence is a great person with a wonderful local moving business. He has done several moves for us and always has done a great job. He values your home furnishings as much as you do and cares for them as though they were his own. He gives great customer service, and he and his staff are always reliable. Moving is not easy, but Mike helps to take some of the stress out of the process.

I bought a couch and a love seat from Big Lots in Gardner Massachusetts. Big Lots does not have a policy to deliver your furniture so they recommended a moving company called Real Deal Van Lines which I called in hired them with a guarantee they would put the furniture into the desired room in my house. I paid them in full via credit card over the phone.

I live in California and my son attends college in Amherst, MA. He unexpectedly couldn't return to school after winter break due to medical reasons and we had to empty his dorm room and get the stuff stored locally. Then the coronavirus hit. But Mike at Frugal Movers didn't waver. He was responsive, communicative, went to the dorm as scheduled, packed my son's room up and moved it into a storage unit locally that I arranged. Mike and John moved me from Salem, MA to Greenfield. They were prompt, courteous, and efficient! They uninstalled my wall-mounted TV and moved everything with no complaints! My husband and I moved from Greenfield, Ma to central Vermont. Frugal Movers not only got our things packed in a timely and professional manner, but kept us informed and communicated through the entire process. They got our entire 3 bedroom apartments worth of furniture into 2 tiny storage units, and were positive and friendly the entire time! Very fair prices and great customer service. I worked with them from out-of-state as they moved my brother from one Massachusetts town to another. Friendly, professional, on-time, the list goes on! The best part is that they charge for the exact amount of time it takes them - no minimum number of hours charged, no rounding up. If it takes them 2.5 hours, they are going to charge you for 2.5 hours. I highly recommend them!

We had to move from Hampden County to Franklin County and employed Frugal Movers to do the job. The move involved many important business items and heavy items like our washer, large dresser, etc. moved downstairs from our old place and upstairs to our new house. They did the job flawlessly and quickly. Everything arrived in great condition and they made the stressful experience of moving much easier. They even accommodated a schedule change when I asked for our moving date to be rescheduled at the last minute. Prices are very reasonable as well.

A truly amazing company. The highest level of hospitality and customer service I've seen from movers. These guys spent 9 hours graciously moving my girlfriend (VT) and I (MA) into our new apartment in MA. It was no small project, but they worked tirelessly and with a great sense of humor. A relaxed and refreshing moving experience. Pricing and timing was fair, and not a single thing was broken or scratched. They were thoughtful with every single box. Couldn't recommend these guys enough.
