We are new to NJ and thr new home we are in needed a complete overhaul which is called a "spring clean". So we scheduled an estimate with Nicole, she called on her way, showed up on time and continued to communicate throughout our entire experience.
She emailed a quote within 24 hours, we requested a few small revisions and she sent the new quote back quickly. When the crew arrived for service we were able to communicate with Nicole with any questions about what the crew was doing. She even came out to show the crew at the start of their services and mid day to make sure everything was done properly

I paid $1,165.00 for work that was not preformed and/or not performed to my complete satisfaction.
I was charged $135 for "Weeding of Rock-bed" that was not preformed at all. I was also changed $600 to clean out and remove debris from landscape bushes & hedges that was not preformed, rather mulch was just thrown on top of dead leaves from last Fall to cover them up. Tree rings were not re-defined around trees in the backyard and new mulch was not applied.
I've tried to communicate my concerns with SLS that I was not satisfied with the service preformed and requested that

They are Lumberton neighbors and everyone is entitled to an off week. Beware the undisclosed 12% job waste component of the price. Overall the work was satisfactory and the crew worked like crazy but this company is more lawn service than landscape design. The "landscape designer" was not very organized and was barely on the job site.

We had a patio put in for our backyard. We had pavers along with seat walls installed with lighting. Great customer service, very accommodating, and quality workmanship. Henry the designer was a gentleman throughout the process. On a couple of occasions we needed to make changes that required the workers to change course. Everyone involved was very patient and worked to meet the customers needs. Would strongly recommend the company for those interested in patios.

Every time I'm in the Mt holly area and get cut off by a landscape truck it's SLS ...last time the guy yelled out the window and gave me the finger. Also if there's a landscape tuck doing 20mph below the speed limit it's SLS...a friend tells me they do it too at there company to gain paid hours by driving extremely slow... just from there driving I would never recommend or use for commercial or residential.

We gave SLS Landscaping $25,000 worth of paver business and initially it appeared to look good however over time the work continued to go down hill. I had walls cave in, I had steps collapse, pavers sinking, lighting go out and on and on. We thought by staying local and having him right down the street, we could trust the company but totally the contrary. Sam basically took our money and was done. His own lead guy admitted the job was done poorly but used the excuse that it was before his time. I urge you to think twice before giving him ANY business. Sam should be ashamed of the work he

This is our first year with the company and everything started out well. They promised you the world and once you sign the contracts, they didn't deliver. Their crew came out to do the planting, spring clean up and mulching and what a disaster. The trees were planted with the burlap still tied to the trunk. The crew threw trash all over our property and in the trees. They damaged the outdoor lighting and too many other things to name. What a disaster! They then sent a bill and without any reminders, cut off our service. What kind of a way is that to do business. I then called the office

We used Sam's for several years. Compared to other lawn services they are quite expensive. Whenever we had particular concerns regarding our own property, they were always quite dismissive. For example, we regularly asked them to close our fence gates when they were done mowing the lawn. The open gates allowed neighborhood children into our property and regularly caused our dogs to escape. I called them to remind them every few months.
