Granite is an igneous rock melted at a preceding date similar to volcanic lava. Unlike lava, granite never surfaced and remained trapped inside the Earth's core where, over time, it has cooled and crystallized. The result is a uniform speckled stone ranging in colors from black, grey-tones, pinks, browns, blues and reds.
We know there are many options when selecting a stone to achieve the beauty and elegance desired for your kitchen, vanity, bar top, fireplace, etc. We understand the importance of assisting you in selecting the right granite, marble or quartz surface that best matches your vision. Marble is a metamorphic rock formed from the recrystallization of limestone under intense pressure and high temperatures within the Earth.
During this process, other minerals are introduced into the structure which produces beautiful colors and veining that characterize marble. Marble colors vary from white to black, being sometimes yellow, red and green and beautifully veined or colored. Visit Rock Solid Tops' showroom today and let our team of specialists show you how a granite, marble or quartz surface can be both elegant and affordable at the same time!

Quartz is crystallized silicon dioxide which is usually white or transparent, although it can be found in other colors if it comes in contact with impurities during its formation. It is found either in a pure state or present in other compounds such as granite. The extreme hardness found in quartz and resistance to acids makes its uses very valuable in a large variety of products that require precision and top quality performance.

I don't typically write reviews for merchants where I have not used their services. Rock Solid tops is the difference.
When I had a horrible experience with the counter install by my kitchen designer I was in the position of possibly removing the counters. Weeks later when I had to defend myself against my designer Jeff was very helpful in helping me understand what could or could not be standard during an install. He could not provide a complete assessment since the counter was not
