The photovoltaic (PV) solar panel captures energy from the sun and then convert it to electricity. This direct current (DC) then travels to an inverter which then transfers this DC to alternating current (AC). They were great to work with!! Saved me a lot of money over the larger installers. Listened to my thoughts and desires as to what I wanted as far as my solar and clean energy decision.
